Even if the Steelers miss the playoffs, Tomlin is still a top 3 coach in the NFL

He's won a Super Bowl, been to 2. Never had a losing season. Leader of men.

I'd only put Belichick and maybe Reid above him.

20 coaches have won a playoff game since Tomlin last did.

Tomlin has 1 playoff win vs. a starting QB in the last 11 seasons. That's not very good. In that time Belichick won 17 playoff games and 3 Super Bowls.

When Tomlin met Belichick in the playoffs the Pats had a 33-9 lead in the 4th which seems super familiar.

It's funny that Ike Taylor said Tomlin takes football IQ to Jesus levels because I am a layman and suspected the Pats would throw a flea flicker in that AFCCG; but Mitchell completely bought it even though the Pats use the FF regularly. Then I thought about rookie 5th rounder Malcolm Butler picking Russell Wilson to win the SB because he "knew that play was coming."

 

Wasn't getting enough attention with the other ones. Had to throw in a perfect Tomlin is great Troll thread to get more clicks.

Ill repeat this again since threads are on repeat around here. Might as well do the same with comments... If they make the playoffs he finishes top five in Coach of the Year voting....Guaranteed! Convince me different considering the level of talent on this team. By the way...before you respond think back or check your own preseason prediction about this team and where you thought they would be.

P.S. take note I didnt say he was a top three coach. I said he would be top 5 Coach of the Year candidate IF they make it to the playoffs. So dont come at me if reading and comprehension is a weak point for you.
