Steelers run defense

I don't think I've seen run defense as bad as what we are seeing this year. Not just in Steelers history but also in NFL history. My observation is that they can't get off the blockers and they are out of position. The entire defensive coaching staff has to go now.

Statistically, I think we are on pace to be worst Steeler run defense historically, so that is true.

 

I’m not doubting that there may be some coaching changes needed, but Tuitt, Alualu, Biggs, Davis all have been out. We are playing practice squad players at DE. That’s a big part of the problem.

I love how people say NT is a dead position.

You have someone good there you will stop the run. How the heck did Titans find their NT as a UDFA? That guy is beastly.

 

2014 rushing yards given up this far. Only the Texans are worse.

 

They practice against our Run offense and therefore believe that they are near the top of the league.
