No, really nothing has changed and his tackles/sacks area what they are. He’s being propped up without the productions to back those claims.

If one unhappy player destroys your whole team chemistry, then you got bigger problems. And it begs the bigger question why does this keep happening?

You ever have a job where there is just that one guy that everyone can't stand because he just makes being there harder than it needs to be? Or in school when you are about to get done early and that one troublemaker that screws it up for everyone?

Imagine 89 guys having to cram into ciderblock dormitories that may or may not have retrofitted AC sleep on 4 year old mattresses and eat cafeteria food at St.Vincents only to have AB pull up ever morning in his custom Rolles looking fresh as a daisy from renting a house off campus. Think that doesn't eat away at a guy? Cancers can spread quickly I offer the young money crew as exhibit A.

That's a very large assumption, that these guys would do anything to damage team chemistry. Who cares if one ******* is whining? You don't think that happens, anyway?

They do it by not trading or cutting these guys. Getting rid of them isn't saving much money, so at worst, let them rot on the inactive list.

Harrison was almost 40 years old and complaining about playing time, the Steelers had two first round picks to play in front of him, you act like you approve of the way he acted to get released .

The Steelers got a 3rd and a 5th for AB, and that 3rd pick turned into Diontae Johnson . Harrison forced his way out of town, but karma was on the Steelers side he lost the Super Bowl with the Patriots :hehehe:.

Sometimes keeping guys like this hurts the team as well.

If the Chiefs wanted him before the season, then why didn't he sign with them instead of the Steelers? I don't think he was in high demand considering he signed kind of late.

I'm not sure what solution you are proposing...

    1. Trade him which is what they did, he got his way by acting like a baby. Steelers get a draft pick and save a little money.
    2. Keep him on the team and give him what he wants, more playing time. He gets his way by acting like a baby. Steelers get nothing but garbage play.
    3. Keep him on the team, don't give him playing time, he acts like a baby and causes locker room problems. He gets his salary, Steelers get nothing.
    4. Cut him. he gets his way by acting like a baby, Steelers get nothing.

So the Steelers elected #1...which option did you want to give him? Is there a 5th option I am not seeing?

Nobody's approving of the way he acted. But you don't release a guy who you knew damn well the Patriots were gonna scoop up and almost win a championship with. Stop rewarding bad behavior.

You're acting like the Steelers are master talent evaluators which the past couple of seasons have shown, they are not. They signed a free agent offensive lineman who played for a Super Bowl winning team and said nah we don't need you. So it's a safe bet that they are wrong about Ingram and how they were using him.

I'm definitely right, but we won't get to see how that works out because the Steelers will just keep caving and selling useful players off for pennies on the dollar.

    5. Keep him, tell him he's going to play however damn much they want him to play and if he doesn't like it, he can sit on the inactive list and destroy his value as a free agent in the coming offseason. Also, given the injuries that followed, he wouldn't have been sitting all that much.

So option 3 with a splash of option 2...got it.

And they just live with his locker room BS and fake injuries until someone got hurt....makes sense, glad you aren't the GM or coach.

Who? Stefen Wisniewski? LOL okay man. So they cut him after spending time on IR and the Chiefs signed him to the practice squad mainly because he knew the offense as he was on their team in 2019. He then got promoted for 2 weeks to fill in for injuries and was so good he was put back on the practice squad after each game. Then he was promoted again at the end of the season because the chiefs were so decimated with injuries they didn't have a choice. The Chiefs oline, with Wisniewski, was absolutely horrendous throughout the playoffs and cost them a Super Bowl. He then retired...because he is old and he sucked.

Yup, Steelers really missed the boat on that one.

What exactly was he doing to mess up the locker room? By all means, share that information that you just made up in your head.

Agree, however, if you want to go somewhere else, you probably don't want to play so well that the team won't let you go. I just can't see a player doing as well for a team when he rather be somewhere else. JMO>

The media that covered the Steelers reported often Wisniewski looked bad, once he got injured he was done.

when a guy is constantly asking for a trade, claiming to be better than his teammate, and fakes an injury (quitting on the team)…it has an impact on the locker room.

Umm maybe not be completely naive like you're being? It's Belichick's MO to take disgruntled players and try to squeeze out what's left. And Brady sold his soul a long time ago to win at all costs.
