This guy is great for the Cardinals. When he was in Pittsburgh he would get hurt getting off the bus :). I don’t get it!

He does look really good. Had high hopes for him in Pittsburgh but, he couldn’t stay healthy. Cards have a better line?

They are using him in ways that maximize his talents and minimize injury risks. It also helps that Murray, Hopkins and even Green take the focus off him.

Maximizing a players talents? Now you're just talking crazy! It should be next man up, every square peg fits in a round hole.

I looked at the stat line for the Cards tonight and like I said Murray has more rushing yards than Conner but Conner has some nice receiving yards plus if they decide to cover Conner to you leave Ertz, Hopkins, or Green uncovered. He is in a good situation and being used the right way.

I'm surprised that Kingsbury is excelling coming from college. Really thought he was gonna be a dud as an NFL head coach.

Conner hurt on second to last play.
Looks like he limped off after last play. He just kinda limped around the last play.

is it really fair to compare a rookie to a five year vet? Not to mention Harris is running behind one of the worst offensive lines in the league.

Its because our coaching staff doesnt know how to use the players we have, Our offense/ looks like crap year in year out, doesnt matter who our offensive cord is under Tomlin..

that may change with a change of qb. we could actually put in a different offense around a new QB, where we were not going to change a lot with what ben likes and does. our last 3 OC's had to change a lot of what their offense was to fit ben. if ben retires, things could change a good bit from what we have been used to. good or bad.

Agree! While I was guilty of not having faith in him because of his injury issues I was rooting for him wherever he went. Better situational usage, o-line, scheme and coaching has benefitted him and the cards.

He just needed to stay healthy and he has thus far. I never questioned his talent or commitment.

He's been a TD machine, he always seems to do a lot of his best work 25 yards and in. He scored us a good bit of TD's.

I think it was good for him to get a change of Scenery getting out of Western, PA. Get away from Erie, Pittsburgh, the whole cancer ordeal, the feel good story, and just get to focus on Football and try to stay healthy.

He wouldn't of had the same success here. AZ has a younger more mobile QB, one of the best WR's in the league in Hopkins, and a much better offensive line than we do.

He's a steal of a deal for AZ @ $1.75 million for one year. Which shows you what the majority of teams thought of him, that he was injury prone.
Hopefully he gets a larger deal next year from the Cards or another team.

I will always cheer for James, and I for one am happy for him.

They said during the game that he said he worked harder in the off-season than ever before. I’m guessing the hard work is contributing to him being healthy as well as doing well. Best of luck to him.

On an unrelated note, I don’t go as hard in anything I do as I could. But I don’t have the opportunity to make millions of dollars. It sometimes amazes me that these athletes don’t prepare themselves to the max. People like Brady and Antonio Brown (before the head injury in Cincinnati) demonstrate how hard work pays off. Excuse me while I reach for another donut and give a half-hearted effort on the bike later today.

Very Happy for James Conner. He's one of the few good guys in this me first attitude league.

If the Steelers don't make the playoffs (which they probably won't) then I'm fully rooting for an Indianapolis Vs. Arizona SB and I will be cheering on James to win and hopefully be SBMVP. If Indy wins, that's good to me as well.

TB and/or NE would totally suck!!!!!

He is doing exactly what Pittsburgh drafted him to do: Be the Thunder to Bells lightning.

Not the lone feature back that they tried to convince everyone he was when Bell had his holdout.
