    Call me crazy, but a 48 ir 47 year old college HC doesn't really fit the profile.

    Unless of course you are really going back to zero. You need a HC who has earned respect around the league and can recruiter talented staff.

    He’s in a pretty good spot. Family is comfortable. NFL salary won’t be more than he’s getting. He’s comfortable.

    And he gets to coach more intelligent players.

    Pittsburgh will hire someone in their mid 30s. Who that will be is anyone's guess. That said, do not expect the Steelers to make a move with Tomlin until 2023 as his contract is set to expire I believe.
