I think opposing pass rushers are beating it out of his system.

After Thursday nights beating I can't see him coming back whether its the Steelers or elsewhere.

Mason is signed for 2022. I believe he will start and they will draft a QB in the 1st. Rumor is Sam Howell. Mason struggles and is replaced mid season.

A couple of down years they will be able to retool.

I doubt Ben would go play for another team.

Ben wouldn't go play for the Browns , didn't the Browns pick up Mayfield's 5th year option?

Washington and JuJu are gone, unless JuJu takes a home town deal maybe for one year, I agree they need a speedster at WR.

People should pray Ben wants 2 come back.
He would be killing it in Cleveland behind that line.
You People either don't watch much of other teams , or just don't want 2 believe it if You think when He left No teams would be trying 2 get Him. Right now He's better than Half the Qbs in the league with the line He's playing behind, and His most veteran Weapon is DJ. You believe what You want. I will put money on that there are GMs out there that think the same.
LoL. All it takes is seeing Tyrod Taylor getting chance after chance at being a starting Qb for teams 2 know someone will Sign Ben as a starter if He wants 2 play.

Definitely need to make some better off-seasons moves this year, but they only have mid-pack (12th) cap available ($43 million).

I've heard the words Maybe and probably used when talking about his likely retirement. This means there's something in his mind that would bring him back he just doesn't want to say what that is. I'd bet $ Ben would want to return if Tomlin were fired. I just don't think the team wants him back with or with out Tomlin. Everyone pretty much knows Tomlin won't be fired...which is really unfortunate. He should be.

The next time I hear Ben defend Tomlin and talk about his greatness will be the first time I've ever heard this.. I find that telling.

Come on Dude, you reaching. The fact that you use a non-starter to compare him against speaks volumes. Taylor has never been a true starter in the league, he only starts when the starter is injured or out.

    Ben's done.

ben is most certainly a significant part of the problem. Our running game and play action passing game suffers because of his refusal to play under center. We have a few more options when utilizing the pistol, but we need a quarterback that doesn’t hamstring us offensively.

I’m like you. I’d love to see Ben go to a contender to see what happens. I remember when Montana went to KC. I was shocked, but if not mistaken he did pretty good. Did he he front office really mismanage this team that badly? Is it all Ben’s fault? I personally don’t think all of it is, but he can’t be absolved either.

Seriously people we need to move on. This team and its fan base wants to live in the past way too much. Bringing him back next year would be a waste of his time and ours. This year already proving that.

You don’t sell a car just because it has high miles, unless you have a better one lined up.

His rating is 25th out of 32, and that is who he is. He’s better than anything else we have and better than anything we will find in the next draft. I didn’t want him back this time last year. This year I’ve reversed my thought. But, he is not better than half the QBs in the league. Not even close.

That’s one of the main issues I have with this regime. KC and MT knew this was coming, but failed to prepare for this moment. Why can’t a young Mason leapfrog a 39 year old QB on the depth chart? It’s an institutional failure. The fans who support this institution deserve better.

It will be very interesting to hear what Ben has to say about Tomlin 5-10 years after he retires once the muzzle is off. The further away from the situation one gets the more candid one becomes. Look at Bradshaw and what he’s said about Noll over the years. I’ve got a feeling that that will pale in comparison to what Ben will be saying about Tomlin in a decade.

Is this a function of Rudolph, Ben, or coaching? But as is, I can’t argue with the obvious facts.

I’m guessing this will take a lot less time. Ben likes to throw people under the bus. And after retirement he will be seeking attention.
