They have several needs. It won't happen in one draft. A couple of down years to retool. They will have some money to grab a few free agents but you know they won't be overpaying for any. The team is in a downward spiral. Who knows if Alualu will come back even though he is under contract for 2022. And their is the Tuitt situation. Who knows if he comes back. And is off injured. Wormley looks like a keeper. Other then that who? Heyward is going to be 33 next season.

The offensive line should be better next season. I feel Green needs to get stronger and could be possibility moveing to guard and a center in FA coming in to compete. Moore will be better. Chuks is junk. Turner is not signed for next season but at 3 mill it was a deal. The Dotson injury was a blow to the line. And who knows what Banner can bring. He is signed for 2022. Leglue has a spot.

Then their is strong safety. Edmonds will be gone. Possibly a FA?

Receivers: Washington probably already has his bags packed. Juju should be gone unless a smaller one year contract can be worked out with incentives.

That leaves our #1 Johnson, Head Case Chase, McCloud and White. They will draft a receiver but not high. They have a few on the PS.

OLB: Need a solid #3 for rotation if not 2. What they have behind Watt and Highsmith is laughable.

ILB: Bush struggles go way beyond the knee. He has played horrible. And Schobert was a bargin this season but costs 10M next. He is an upgrade and is hamstrung playing next to struggling Bush.

Corners: Haden will be gone and we see what it's like without him. Sutton is solid. Pierre has been a disappointment. Then comes Witherspoon who is here because of a trade and only signed for one year. Layne is no help and is signed through 2022. They need to forgo drafting and sign some FA's

I'm not a Ben hater, but he's the main reason for the last two playoff losses with six turnovers total in those games.

Trubisky or Fitzpatrick aren't any better than Mason, pass on both of them.

With their free agency money it would be wise to use it on the OL, and a CB.

Umm You should look at the game before that also. How about that perfect pass 2 DJ that he dropped that everyone said Ben can't throw. I don't know why it's hard for people 2 understand 2 go down field accurately You must have a little time.

Yeah, but I don't know that Haskins is sticking around so that leaves one QB here. Just adding a cheap vet to Mason and letting things work themselves out. It's not supposed to be a winning formula.

How would anyone possibly know how bad we will be next year?

What if the Steelers sign Aaron Rodgers? Would we still expect them to be bad?

This team should have some money to play with.

Make a few solid FA pickups. Have a solid draft. Everyone stays healthy. If all that happens Tomlin can have another winning season.

I think they should just start chucking it deep. They open conservative to protect the ball and can't do anything, once it is desperation time they start going deep. Of course, if they let DL in without even attempting to block them you can't expect the QB to do anything.

This. I’m thinking 5-10 years to be a true legit contender, sorry not sugar coating it lol. Too many needs and tomlin will take a while to get fired, at least 5-10 years

Fitzpatrick is almost 40, and he missed this season with a hip injury, not interested. Maybe take a chance on Mariota.

Drafting corners has been a sour note for sure. Sutton is the exception at this point, Layne is junk, Pierre has regressed.

They trade for Witherspoon and finally he gets on the field. Maulet is a drifter they waived then signed.

We can see the loss of Haden. Definitely need to stray away from the draft and go the free agent route.

The O Line is tricky although some upgrades and solid depth are needed. Moore I like and feel he will get better. Can Banner replace Chuks? Green needs to get stronger or risk a demotion or move to guard his natural position. They might look via free agency for a center. The Dotson injury hurt the line. Turner should be one and done unless they can give him another small contract.

The real mess the the Defensive Line. Will Alualu come back and finish his contract out? Still need to upgrade. And Tuitt? Will he come back next season? His injury history is a major concern. A beast when healthy but when. Heyward is playing lights out but he will be 33 next season. I'm sure he has a tank full yet to be seen but if he goes down yikes! Its bad enough now. Wormley is getting better and has a future. They need to do some major evaluation and upgrade this unit.

Hey now. Somehow I feel like I'm being talked about here.
Guess No Qb throws picks in the playoffs. Hell A. Rodgers has had playoffs games He threw 2 picks, and didn't score a Td.....Isn't stopping everyone from wanting 2 go gaga over him, and wanting Him here.

With something like 45m in cap space, the Steelers can definitely upgrade the line, DL, S and CB as well as address needs in the draft. I'm not willing to commit to any prediction for next season until after the draft. For better, or worse, this will be a dramatically different lineup in 22.

Steelers are gonna suck. For a few seasons and then win a Superbowl in the late 2020's!

I would assume Haskins is gone with his attitude problems and the QB rating of 2, when he faced Carolina's 1st team in the preseason.
