I’m not winning any cool points with this post, but oh well. Does anyone else find it convenient that Joe Haden is too “injured” to play on a sucky team with no more money left on the contract? He knows he’s done in the ‘burgh and will likely not be extended. There will be no playoff run. Clearly he’s protecting himself on the injury report in hopes of a futures contract with another team, right? If so, another example of “me first.” I feel the same with Watt Thursday night. 29-0 at half and he pulls this, “I’m good-just gonna take these pads off at the half—we have no chance.” If that game wasn’t played in a comfortable dome, I’m betting Watt’s in the whole game.

Is this another byproduct of the MT culture? What’s your thoughts on the malingering Steelers?

Is it just steeler fans or have all football fans become whiney little kittens?

I can't say what you're saying is accurate, but then, I have no proof either.

it amazes me that the defense was playing bad the whole first half and finally started playing better and stopping the run with the 90 million dollar guy on the sidelines. interesting.

its a fair point. No one should be absolved and everyone needs to be scrutinized.

doesn't surprise me one bit. I wouldn’t be shocked if we don’t win anything for as long as we are stuck with that albatross of a contract. Give me 11 guys that are hungry and always do their job. You’ll win a whole bunch more games than 10 okay guys and one superstar.

Is it taboo to question if an athlete is malingering for the sake of not getting seriously injured while in lame duck status? We could really use Haden out there!

Are you saying this doesn’t happen in the league? Care to expound on your thoughts?

Wow… fans are getting down on TJ? Did anyone watch the win over the Ravens? The guy headed into the Thursday night game on pace to set a new NFL record for sacks.

But yeah, let’s turn on him… wow!

tj QUIT on the team Thursday. I said it so I’m standing by it. Haden needs to stop pouting and play out his contract. There you go, I said it.

An outlier to this discussion is Ben. He could have been pulled in several games lately, but he stayed in and the offense continued to play. So, whatever conspiracy exists with the defense, it’s apparently not influencing the offense. Maybe it’s not a conspiracy and instead groin and foot injuries are the reason.

yeah y’all show your faces after every single loss and a large portion of the wins.
25million qb throws 3 interceptions and it’s “tomlin didn’t have them prepared”.

Will admit I have wondered about it in all 4 major sports in the country. I'm sure it happens but only way you'll ever be ever to prove it is if the player comes out and says it.
