13 games is simply too few to draw a conclusion on Kendrick Green. I understand so many would want Tyler Linderbaum as the new Center. However, the transition from the college level to the pros for Offensive Lineman is already difficult enough. A new Center to go along with whomever the new QB is in addition? Yikes!!!



Even if we remove these possible road blocks, there is still one major hill no one is pointing at; Kevin Colbert has never drafted an Iowa Player during his tenure here with the Steelers..... ever. I personally believe that Linderbaum is the one that could potentially buck that trend but I personally have every reason to believe it will not happen due to the historic pattern the Steelers have outlined since 2010.

 

Tomlin is the DC, who are we kidding?

 

Maybe if Ben threw it just a tad higher to take advantage of Pat’s height, they would have went after his body instead of hands.

Oh trust me...... do NOT get me started on the Defense. As I posted earlier in the thread, Minkah Fitzpatrick being the team leader in tackles?!?! Not a good sign at all; a damning indictment of the Linebacking Corps more than anything else. That said, everyone was truly doing...... whatever that was supposed to be.

 

I don't know who is to blame. The team has some really good players. The play calling is horrible and the first halves are evidence.
Giving up 300 yards in the first half is not excusable.

You have to blame Ben for lack of production early. He did not get it done.

 

Last time I've see a Steelers rookie offensive linemen get skated back as often as Green does is Kraig Urbik ... he didn't last long on this team.

I disagree. I feel like with a center, you know early on if what you have is gonna pan out. And so far it's not looking good.

You're blind, even Stevie Wonder can see the defense is lacking talent, the backup OLBs are Taco and Tsuska they had to play the whole second half. Heyward is the only legit starter on the DL, and the Vikings were double teaming him.
