Are the Steelers really sold with Green at Center?

I know I watch this game and whole time I'm thinking, and Ben is the one everyone wants gone 2 fix this team. I have 2 wonder why???

 

I would really like to hear Tomlin take personal responsibility for not having the team ready and getting out schemed in the first half

 

If Muth had one more sec. He would of tucked it and made the the catch. He just did not have time to secure it against his body...it was that close

 

I was a fan of the Canada hire, but I'm fine if they bag it at the end of this season.

 

One thing I noticed in this game is Vikings having a physical Safety in Harrison Smith makes a huge difference for them. Steelers are missing that physicality.

 

LOL, I predicted 9-7 at the start of the season. I then forecasted 8-8-1 after the Lions game.

 

Would it even matter though?

Ben played his heart out, had the OLine given better protection, and Boz hits the FG, who knows.

I don’t understand the three runs, penalty, and punt after they got to 20 points. That was a wasted drive.

 

He's a ****ing 3rd round rookie with 13 games under his belt, he needs a season or two to develop.

Keith Butler is likely relieved of his duties come 2022 anyhow as his contract is set to expire. I seriously doubt the team will be bringing him back. Teryl Austin would be my personal vote to become Defensive Coordinator but I am not opposed towards some new ideas from the outside. Again though, I doubt the latter will happen but anything is possible really.

 

Imagine if we had a defense.

 

Agreed. So much for the excuse that they were tired from the Baltimore game. They managed to rally even without Watt and Highsmith. To be fair, the Vikings helped quite a bit. They let up a bit at 29-0. They never really got it back together defensively, though Harris did make that one huge play to save the game at the end. How the hell did they not tackle Johnson on the play before it?

 

I've got to give the team a TON of credit for not giving up. After that first half I expected Ben to not come out for the 3rd quarter and just go home retired. They should all get reamed for the first half for sure but they showed some tough Steeler football in the 2nd half.

 

That was Ben running the offense. They should fire Canada tonight and let Ben call all the plays

 

I've been calling for a true defensive guru from the outside to come here but that would require too much change and all.

 

We’ve seen this script before. Against the Jaguars, the Browns, the Bengals… Start out slow as molasses on both side of the ball, fall behind big then make an attempted comeback that falls short. Seen it before and I’m tired of it.

 

I was hoping to come across as sarcastic.

 

We have the worst LT in the league. Ben may not get sacked, but his man is going around him every play and causing Ben to rush his throws.

 

All of us complaining about how they dont make adjustments look a bit foolish after that 2nd half.
