Steelers have one win with Haden out in games that he has missed.

 

Anyone who doesn't see Ben calling the offense vs Canada is crazy. Canada offense is literally terrible in college. I can't even comment on the defense though.

 

In spite of the late penalty Leglue is showing promise

 

Steelers are a rope a dope team.....let the other team get up big think they will coast to an easy win then mount the comeback....almost worked.....lol!

Yep...big diff with haden in. Sutton is much better not being the top cb and it kinda hides how bad edmunds is.

 

There is no depth on defense. There is work to do in building defensive roster.

 

That's what i was thinking, the idiot was celebrating, so an O lineman tried to get the ball and it rolled downfield. Cost us 5 secs, he needs to growup.

 

Now why couldn't they play like that during the first half!!!

 

And add the fact Bush and Edmunds give you no impact plays.

The more I see this defense play, the more directions I get pulled in regarding need for next season. That said, that Offensive Line is still in need of a dire overhaul. That first half was just............ yikes......

 

That was the worst first half I’ve ever watched. You want Ben to retire? Without him it was over in the first. Invert the wish. Let’s retire everyone else but keep Ben.

Defense has talent. It's the leadership calling and coaching the plays.

 

Fire whoever called the defense in the first half. Fire that person right now

 

If the Offensive Line could only set the tone early. This unit lacks a tone setter on it for it to kickstart the entire offense. Slow starts are a product of inexperience coupled with lack of urgency.



Thankfully, the 2022 Draft Class has one of the best overall Offensive Line groups in years. Granted, Center after Tyler Linderbaum takes a nose dive but there but there is good value everywhere else.
