He's not quite ready yet but give him another year or two.

Well that's what I mean, or what I meant. In the next Years draft ...not this one. LoL.
    Now I'm confusing myself.

What's the book on Corral from Ole Miss? I've seen him a couple of times and he kind of reminds me of Pickett, to be honest.

He's on the small side, good arm and mobility though.

Small, and runs 2 dang much. Not runs 2 buy time , but runs because 1st read or check down is covered. No patience in the pocket. Doesn't seem like he sees the field well. He's the only Qb that's coming out that I have seen every game of. 2nd or 3 rd pick IMO, but I'm sure he will go in the 1st. Hopefully before We pick.

With the exception of Pickett (6'3", 220) they're all on the small side.
    Corral- 6'1", 198
    Willis- 6', 218
Strong- 6'3, 204 (not sure how putting on 15-20 lbs is going to affect him)
    Howell- 6', 220
Ridder from Cinci is the largest, at 6'4", 215.

Regrettably, I’ve got to agree with you, Blast. I really had high hopes for Mason when we drafted him and he seems like a heckuva nice guy, but he just doesn’t seem to have what it takes to be a top flite starter. His mechanics are a mess, he doesn’t seem to have the best field presence and some of those lollipops he throws are perplexing given that he apparently has a sufficiently strong arm. He’ll have a nice career as a backup but that’s about all I can see for him at this point now that there’s sufficient tape out there on him.

I like Watson as a player, but I’m not sure I can get past the significant character concerns with him at this point.

Steelers too, good point. Guess a lot depends on the outcome of that investigation.

In the modern NFL size is less of an issue.

I was going to post in the other thread. But since it was a lot of depth, I thought a lot would want to know the several options we have in trades and free agency.

Agreed. He's the only one that's capable of starting. The rest are going to be a job and possibly just a back up at best.

That's going to cost a lot. But I'm fine with that as long as he's cleared

Only pickets is good enough to start. The rest are nothing more than a project or a backup at best. They should even be selected in the second round. But teams will be reaching and getting laughed at when they start them..

We have enough money to unload. And Mason will not be good enough even if we had a stout Online. We'll get laughed at.
Cousins is the worse I'm willing to trade for.

Draft I don't see us giving up everything for picket. And like you said, the rest suck

Trubisky in ok with. I like to give cousins a shot though. He has a cannon. And I'm lost what happened to his accuracy with the Vikings.

I'm ok with that option as well. It would give us mobility to open the playbook. But we need to get a stout O-line and another WR to open the field more for him.

They've tried him enough recently to see. And they saw the failure writing on the walls.

I think he's the one with the most tests because he plays in the SEC West. I've seen many QBs hyped and not pan out over the years, so I will have to see what the others have.
