Any draft experts have an opinion on him. Maybe he is the second coming of Aaron Donald. :smiley1:

Another warm body, he can't be any worse then what we have. But he does have some experience and isn't just another rookie. We don't need him to be a super star we just need him to take on blockers and keep the LB's clean. If Bush has a clean path to the RB and continues to whiff then that should be enough to plant his ass on the bench and try anyone else we have, seeing as Spillane is most likely out already.

I’ll be interested in seeing what he can bring to the table. He may end up being better than some of the guys we’re putting in the field now. Not a high bar, but any improvement would be welcome. He’s a guy that I remember from the pre draft process a few years back. He was over drafted in the 3rd, but was a solid player in the SEC. He’s not devoid of talent and potential.

These board members are amazing, I think the Steelers FO has tried their best
to improve the Steelers to be competitive team this year. With sickness and injuries they
are atleast trying to get better players on the field that they have seen from current players.

But at the same time there's not a big reason to be competitive this year. It's an odd scenario because you don't want them to purposely tank, but at the same time it may be the only way you get better players from a draft perspective. I'm contradicting myself from my original post I know.

i hope carl davis being back helps the middle of the d-line and allows cam to stay on the outside. i believe if he can seal up the interior a little cam and wormley can do more, which could open up tj and highsmith. now if we get bush out of the middle and put a guy that can give some effort next to schobert we could be OK.

Davis on inactive list for today’s game.

As for Adams, take Big Snack’s Advice, “Go left, Go right, Or Stay at home, it’s not hard to figure out”.

adams helped in the middle. even though it wasn't davis, the same thing happened. bush even gave a little more effort but he's just not that good. as i watched that game twice i saw our two first round picks that cost us 4 picks together at times, not making the play. bush and edmunds. i also noticed norwood awlays around the ball but he doesn't tackle well at all. right place but can't finish is not helping. another thing is our DB's can't catch. we talked about dwight all the time but these guys can't either.

Draft: CB, ILB, S. keep adams and davis get healthy. keep schobert. wormley having a decent year. that's the defensive side. :smiley1::cool:

No that would be signing Lev Bell to the practice squad keeping him there for 4wks playing him in two games and releasing him.

What the Steelers are doing is moving the barrel for the first time in 50 yrs, digging in the dirt and seeing what's there. It's akin to waiting for Tampa Bay to release AB for lying and making them look bad and signing him suspension and all because Ben thinks they need a better receiver.
