I like what I see. Good mobility and makes things happen/keeps plays alive along with good accuracy. I hope we select him. I’ll miss Mason the Statue Rudolph.

Sadly, I think you are right and he's going to be over drafted. He probably belongs in the mid-to-late first round, where the Steelers would have a shot at him, but somebody is going to take a quarterback too early and he's probably going to be the first one off the board.

I'm hoping somehow either Georgia's DT Jordan Davis or Iowa C Tyler Linderbaum fall to us

They aren't taking a Center. They just drafted Green.

If he is there when we pick you draft him. Mason will start and Pickett will take over in week 5. Unless they give Ben another year. I'm sure Ben will take him under his wing :lolol:

Imagine if he is available and the Steelers pass on him? Then the Dan Marino crap would really kick in, though they are very different players. What if Linderbaum and Pickett are both there?

Let him get pushed backed in the pocket a few more times or a few more bad snaps and you'll see him at RG next yr with Linderbaum as the new C

I'm not a college guy but was sort of forced to follow Joe Burrow his last season at LSU. I could see he was going to be top notch NFL QB at some point. I jumped on the Pitt bandwagon when I saw they were something special and fell in love with Pickett. (terrible name for a QB) I hope we get him or we'll pass over him and he'll be another Dan Marino.

Pickett won’t be available when we draft. Would have to trade up and give too much.

Could be worse, Pickett could be a nose tackle. ;)

Doesn’t look like he will have to fall at all to get to their draft spot.
