Who exactly is apologizing for Tomlin? I think you’re targeting a group that is extinct.
I will say this though, Tomlin is deep in your head.

In fairness, Noll's 1983 Steelers lost 45-3 to the 6-7 Lions on Thanksgiving day. It is a fine line sometimes.

Tomlin TIED the worst team in the League ( by far ) at Home... They're win less in ELEVEN games! And a lot of people on here still think he's a good Coach!

Dalton is a lot better than Rudolph, which is really a commentary on the craptitude of Rudolph.

The Lions have 5 games lost/tied by 3 points or less; they just can’t finish.

Based on what? He got benched for Fields who has been a sh!tshow. Only reason he's playing is because Fields is injured. And Rudolph does suck, you're definitely right about that

The Lions are better than their 0-10-1 record. They just falter at the end. The Steelers managed to meet there.

Dalton was benched for a first-round draft pick. Rudolph is so bad, the Steelers wouldn't turn to him when Roethlisberger was injured and had no business starting. He got that one start only because Roethlisberger had COVID.

Dalton had the better game against the Lions this season. Also, please see below.

Interesting note, every Steelers win is by one possession.

Take em as they come... W’s, L’s or ties...

Lions and bears have been embarrassed as well as tough outs period. Listening to the pundits, our boys ain’t where they are either be it without tough sledding or if not outright layovers themselves. Enjoy the ride and hope the dumbassery goes away sometime soon. Every team and their base say the same sh!t week in and out regardless. It sucks watching the theory of situational and smart ball be defied weekly but it is what it is. It’s here til it’s not. Wash rinse repeat amigos

Tomlin is a good coach. His time in Pittsburgh needs to be over though.

But dang starting this thread was weak.

Yes, both statements are true. But to act like Dalton is some kind of superstar is foolish. I'm not really sure what you are arguing. Yes, Rudolph sucks, no argument from me about that. Dalton is better than Rudolph. Ok I agree with that too. But to say Dalton is a great or even a good QB at this point in his career is a head scratcher to me.

Except the one the team insists they had a "first round grade" on.

Very sad stat for the Lions but if they could just score 20 points a game they be 5-6

But, yes we had no reason to tie them.

But, if Ben doesn't get Covid chalk that up a W but there were other reasons than QB play that led that to being a tie.

The Steelers, with Ben, could play the Lions 10 times this season and I think we would only win 5 or 6 times.
