Its a punch, but I'm more concerned that he ran 40 yrds to make the tackle because players in our secondary were to inept to make it

 

It looked bad in person. Still don’t look good in replay but I don’t think it looks malicious. Herbert ain’t tripping so move along.

 

Whatever he did it was minor compared to the shots to the head that Najee and Sutton got.

 

Anyone catch the replay of our 300 pound Cam running down the Chargers player while 2 other Steelers defenders lay facedown, motionless on the turf like they'd been shot with a tazer? It was our 2021-2022 Steelers season in a nutshell.

I honestly think He was just 2 tired 2 get off Him, and then when He got pulled on His alpha came out, and He lost His cool.
If I was Him I would Have gotten up and Walked right 2 Edmunds, and gave Him what they stopped Him from doing 2 The Qb. LoL.

I know I'm beating a Dead horse here but how anyone can call for Ben's job ....Yet keep sticking up for T. Edmunds. LoL. I just don't know what 2 say. You know who You are.

 

It was worthy of a penalty. I think Cam was frustrated. Besides, who knows if Herbert said something to him or not. Can Heyward is an articulate, urbane person. Well spoken and polite. However, he can be ornery. His dad's nickname was "Ironhead", so Cam gets it honestly.

 

It was a punch and S.T.D. may have the whole thing right.

Herbert was down, face down and a teammate comes over and tries to get Cam off of him. Cam turns toward the teammate, looks back down at Herbert, flips him on his back, and delivers a semi-punch to the gut/family jewels.

This wasn't Cam just trying to get up or whatever. He lost his cool whether due to frustration with his teammates or with Herbert's teammate, who knows. Not that it really matters, nor does it alter my very high opinion of Cam as a player or person, but let's be real here. He was giving Herbert the bidness, deserved the penalty, and may have been close to getting ejected.

 

two guys were on the ground after running into each other(inept sums it up) a third was being held by the receiver and badly at that.

 

This but I think it was less punch and more hard tummy slap like you'd do with your brother while rough housing and he wouldn't get off you so you could breathe so you give him a quick shove to the belly when he isn't ready.

 

Yeah. I ordered Cams Jersey after the game. I have always liked Him, but thought of Him as a bit....Just a bit liability 2 the run game, but after seeing His Heart last night....He is one of My favorite players now.
He has moved up into My top 10 all time favorite Steelers. I haven't figured who 2 drop yet....Maybe I will go Top 11 all time favorite Steelers. LoL

 

Cam is the heart and soul of this team. Ultimate respect for him especially now

 

I reviewed the punch in slow mo. Seems it was a pulled punch since his wrist bent and there was no impact on herbert
