    1. Play calling was awful until Ben started calling his own play

    2. Cam Heyward was one of the few on defense that came to play

    3. 3rd and long???? No problem.... Target Devin Bush

    4. Terrell Edmunds looked like the statue of liberty in the defensive backfield

    5. Special teams was on point in pretty much every facet

    6. Defensive injuries were just too much to overcome

    7. Awful officiating, but what else is new

    8. Chase Claypool is off balance far to often when he catches passes

    9. O-line should be ashamed

    10. We are officially in trouble

I'm officially off the Matt Canada bandwagon. I'm fine with him being one and done. But we know that ain't happening because Steelers gotta get their money's worth.

Ben is making $40 mil. Offense is all on him. Canada and everyone else is just his helper.

The OL was the biggest question mark before the season started. It is no longer a question mark. We know definitively that the OL sucks.

Who was responsible for allowing Rudolph to throw 50 Times against 0-8 Detroit?

Rudolph is responsible. QB is in charge of all of the offense. Rudolph is playing for that big contract too, not Canada.

You might want to get a clue before you post crap, Ben is making $14 million this season, and Ben isn't calling the plays either.

    1. Or until the Chargers D backed off to prevent big plays...then, with 2 minutes left bring it and crush the Steelers O.

    2. Agreed.

    3. They could target anyone not named Heyward

    4. They all did

    5. Agreed.

    6. Agreed.

    7. Agreed.

    8. Claypool has no idea how big he is and how to use it.

    9. Agreed.

    10. They were in trouble when their 3 best defensive players were listed as out. They were in trouble before the season started as there is zero depth on this team.

Growing Pains on the Offensive Line man. Yikes. Normally those pains do fluctuate from time to time; in extreme degrees even. That said, the downward trajectory of this line is far more notable than the upward.

More than likely and, what people like me and @KnoxVegasSteel alluded to in another thread, Offensive Line HAS to be addressed; double dipped even. Given the fact that the team is likely going to lose one of its Offensive Tackles in 2022 as it currently stands, best to shore up that end.

Nabbing a QB behind this line is only going to accelerate his chances of getting hurt severely.

O Line is terrible. Defensive Depth is almost as bad. What a ****ty team.

Offsides on missed field goal cost them 3 points. Tomlin going for it is tolerable even if he doesn't get it. I can get that part a little. But not being discipline on those plays, the littlest mistakes cost you games.

The Steelers fundamentals are terrible. And that is coaching 101 when it comes to good coaching.

I think Ben has a future as an offensive coordinator.

Maybe next year he could be shouting plays at Mason, while also reminding him that he sucks lol.

Hmmmm... seems to be a common denominator there. All sacrificial lambs to cover for someone else.

Except Canada's offense really does suck.

Ben doesn't take time to master an offense, only seems to do well when he's calling the plays in hurry up, this is going back to Haley at least. He doesn't have the skills or supporting cast to pull it off anymore.

I agree. We knew there was going to be some growing pains but they are not growing into those pains at all. Sigh.

This team lacks talent and is very poorly coached. Pushing their chips in on bad hands year after year after year is really costing them now. They don't have many good pieces going forward and they aren't going to win anything this season. They already have dead money and missing picks next year. They needed to hit the reset button on the coaching staff and vet players a while ago and they simply refuse to do it. Incredibly frustrating to watch.

The CBs and OL we saw last night, minus Dotson, is who I believe they're rolling with next year. They aren't going to admit failure and give up after a year.

    Lean years ahead.

Najee has heart and the talent to be great but he cannot do it alone. When you're dodging the DL in the backfield, what is he to do, fly over them? He's fine right now and he'll be great when all the pieces are in place.

Not sure how much an entirely new offensive line with 2 rookies starting was that much of a question mark. Not saying they won't eventually gel into something but their 1st year wasn't going to like what we've in the past. Stupid me, I was hoping that the coaching staff would find a way to minimize this inexperience and youth to be competitive. In a way they are since we are winning more than losing, but getting into post season is a stretch I think most can agree on. Now we should be worrying more about the D at least until we get half of them back. JMO>
