vs. the worst rushing D in football. 39 for the RB they invested a first round pick in.

Good job coming back and making it close, but with a wounded D their best shot was to keep the ball away from LA.

Should have done what Detroit did to them the week before, load up heavy and slam the ball into the line. Use your $4M fullback.

    Failed game plan.

Steelers have no quality depth on the D side. Obviously. But that was one helluva comeback in the 4th. Shocking.

To be fair our defense kind of forced us to go one dimensional. But yea it clearly wasn’t the focus from they start. Classic Tomlin game plan.. “thats just what they’ll expect!”

At the 2:05 point we got the ball with a chance to win. I think you run it on 1st. The chargers knew it was a pass and blitzed is on first down. Ben literally had 3 seconds to pass. sack … 2nd and 18. Game over.

That was a terrible hit he took and no flag. Reminds me of the hit on Boz. So much for officials / rules to protect players. Harris looked pissed and pushed someone away getting up because I think he didn't want come out. I think.

Keep Najee in to block, leak out for a cheap 10-15 there.

Our OL is pretty much ass right now. Is it players, coaching, something else? It’s something that unfortunately we’ll have to deal with this season.

The D depth? Our OL starters would be questionable depth on other teams right now. They have a long way to go. The last two sacks were terrible.

True, clock was stopping after that play no matter what. Screen could have been an option there too.

That's where needing a TD instead of just a FG made a HUGE difference.

The last possession was terrible and illustrates your point fairly accurately, I think.

    Harris got beat up badly.
He’s lucky to be walking away.

Wish we'd try some 22 with Watt at FB, Banner at 2nd TE. Bully ball. What could it hurt? Could even pass out of it with Najee, Muth, DJ...

Yeah. Not sure how much taking a different OL would have been. Maybe a little more help, but doubt we’d be seeing different results. Besides QB the OL has to be the #1 priority moving forward.

Agree. We did this with Banner in the past. Not sure why they’re not doing it anymore.

Savran and Batch killing the Steelers for the drive after the 4th down stop. No runs, only 19 seconds off the clock.

Yes defense was AWFUL, but they still had a chance to win the game on offense with better clock management.

Calling for Canada's headset to be taken away.

When the homers are calling for it - that's when it has to happen.

We also had 3 time outs I believe. Point being 2+minutes means you can be balanced on offense. They were expecting pass as it was obvious we would go one dimensional when we didn’t need to be. A run into that blitz would have probably been a nice gain and kept them honest.

Only had 1 at that point. Ben used one to avoid delay of game and used on when D wasn't ready.

But still - they had enough time.

Line is terrible. We should have done better than 55 tonight.

But still ... they abandoned run too early at times.

A RB is only as good as his offensive line.

They abandoned the run because they were down by 14 or more points most of the game.
