Hard to tell but I think the Charges game will tell us if we go into free fall or we can do enough to build off of and bounce back somewhat to get 3 wins. If the Charges embarrass us next game, then no. The momentum of failure will be like a snow ball going down a hill (like LY) so I really hope we make a game of it Sunday. JMO>

If Ben plays I give them a good chance of winning, the Chargers are last in the league on defense in rushing, and they placed two starters of their DL on the Covid list today.

That's everybody. 31 teams go home each year disappointed.

You can't get to the championship without getting to the playoffs. A better record helps a team with the latter.

Lot of Tomlin haters on here but I would love to see him keep that record intact. I'm not sure it's possible with the remaining schedule and our continued struggle to score points.

Bosa was a close contact, not a positive test. I saw a report that he has already tested negative, so there is a good chance he will play.

Yep, the five-day quarantine takes him right up to Sunday. He tested negative when Tilley tested positive and Bosa was identified as a non-vaxxed close contatct. They likely are waiting until closer to Sunday to test him again if he is symptom free.

Can't wait for the 15 consecutive non losing seasons parade. I know Glenn can't wait to buy the hat and shirt.

I don't believe that Tomlin not having a losing season for fifteen years has anything at all to do with Tomlin. Thank BB and the players, not Tomlin's coaching skill. Anyway, that's my thoughts about it

Fans blame Tomlin for the losses, so you have to give him some credit when they win.

After this season it will be 12 years and 3 playoff wins….. Is that really good enough for any of you?

Actually, that'd be 5 (keeping with your assumption of 0 this year).

Tomlin's lack of playoff success remains one of his criticisms. But IMO, if you're going to speak to it, you've got to look at his entire tenure - and over those 14 years (leaving 2021 out for now), he's posted 8 playoff wins. I don't see anybody stating a case for that being great.

But there's context you can add over that span:
    • Only 4 teams have more than 8 playoff wins (Patriots, Packers, Seahawks, Ravens)
    • 23 teams have fewer
    • 18 teams have 4 or less
    • 5 have 0

They have only won 3 playoff games since the last super bowl vs Green Bay wouldn’t at the end of this year assuming no playoff win (safest assumption ever) be 3 in 12 years?

With a HOF QB in his prime for the majority of his career and the talent this team has had until recently that is completely unacceptable. He should have been fired after the Jax playoff debacle and it has been nothing but downhill since.

He came here as a defensive coach and since Cowhers defensive players retired this defense for the most part has been a joke. Last year they were decent early on but besides that the secondary especially has been horrendous with Mike’s players.

Glenn is super ornery right now because as #1 superfan even he realizes what is about to happen these next 8 games and the aftermath on this board.
