Derick Watt

I got to ask how come we don't try him as Middle Line Backer? I mean the dude is on every tackle on ST and he's as big as Bush and would be an upgrade at this point. We don't use him as a full back he's a Watt dudes play defense. I heard somewhere that TJ switch in college from TE to DE not sure if that true but what do we have to loose. His talent is being wasted anyways. thought?

 

Won't happen. This team doesn't think outside the box.

He has been playing more on offense though and has been used for some very good pull blocking the last couple of games.

 

Derek Watt at MLB, now let's follow PWP's advise and bring back Heyward-Bey to play free safety and Dobbs to run the wishbone and we're Super Bowl bound.

 

There is thinking outside the box and there is abandoning the box so completely that you have lost all sense and reason. The OP is the latter.

I do want to see more of Watt on offense. Take Ebron's snaps.

 

I think if you gave him an off season to convert, he’d probably be at least as good a run defender as anyone we have now.
