But with a first round grade from the Steelers! So I’m counting it.

Agree with all the above comments other than I think Rudoulph actually does have a strong arm. Accuracy and timing are his issues.

You maybe right, but could You give me examples of the ones You're talking about...Like since the time of Qbs that are taking a huge percentage of the cap. For instance Baker mayfield....you know if He can't win with what he's got going on now, he really won't once the give him the big cap Hitting contract, and We could possibly draft something worse.

You dang well know it's different...He's kept as a backup, anyway You make my point. Imagine if they gave a 1st round for him.

Because they don't, or didn't have a team around them. Build a team 1st.

Steelers are stagnant at QB. None of the QBs on the roster will net anymore wins than the other. Ben sucks just as bad as Rudolph and Haskins. Anybody who can't see this is blind as hell.

Off the top of my head: Troy Aikman and Brett Favre.

Troy was good at 4 years...plus He was on a team with a New owner, and New coach. Also I don't think either one qualify what I meant by Qbs that take up big % of the cap. It's almost impossible with the Cap Hits Qbs are taking now...2 wait on a Qb....if they aren't good soon in this time of the Qbs taking Up so much Cap% Otherwise You pay a ho hum Qb all that Cap , and get rid of the good team around them.

I may have to look at Mike white from the jets. He will be a restricted free agent. Then draft one.

Pickett will go top 2 overall.
IMO the choice is between Desmond Ridder and Hendon Hooker.

QBs have a high bust rate because teams tend to reach pretty badly on them and bring them into bad situations.

If the Steelers are doing their due diligence on the QBs, it would be a great spot for a young QB to land with a stud RB, a very good WR corp, and talented TE to throw to. If the OL continues to get better, they’ll be set. So I think a bust is less likely here than being drafted by say the Jets or Lions.

Carson Strong has continued to play well this year. If they see him slipping to the 2nd, he could be a steal there.

White threw 4 ints against the Bills, he's probably a flash in the pan QB.

Could be a lot of vet QB movement this off season. Guys like Rodgers, Wilson, Garoppolo, Ryan, Hurts, Watson, along with some possible rehabilitated options like Trubisky and a few others. With that many guys in play, and about 4 college arms that will probably go in Round 1, there are many scenarios for the Steelers.
