Impressed with what? If I listened to the presser I'd probably need a new TV.

Was really hoping for some progress from Mason. He’s a like able guy and plays with heart. Problem is he plays flat footed in the pocket and his arm is not good . The balls float and because of that he will always be turnover prone. He will never be a good starting QB .

Rudolf has no none zero touch on the ball, when he did drop it in don't be fooled that is touch any ball further than 15 yards floats. When he has a guy on a quick slant he fires it at 80 miles an hr from 5 yds away.
His mobility looked great but that's only because I am comparing him to our old statue.
Ok lets just move on to Haskens and see what he has.
Rudolf would suck in the CFL the field is 15 yds wider his quick out would take 10 seconds to get there.

I think he said Mason gave them a chance to win at the end, which is true if Diontae and Freiermuth don't fumble the game away.

Rudolph will be back in 2022, he's the only QB on the roster that's under contract for next year, they need to bring in some competition for him because Haskins isn't the answer.

To be honest I don’t think we even get lined up to spike the ball if Pat didn’t fumble. What a horrendous play call.

That's what Savran was saying on the post game show, Mason should've went to a different read on that play.

despite the game Mason played, if Johnson doesn’t fumble I feel like we win that game.

The muth fumble though, while bad, did we even have enough time to spike and run another play? Not sure

I think we should have ran a draw for a couple yards maybe spikes it and gave Boz a chance at like a 55 yarder

Anything but that play to Freiermuth, they had no timeouts, so they needed to run a out pattern to the sideline.

Doubtful they can run the ball and still have time to get lined up for a spike to stop the clock.

You'll be glad to know that Tomlin said The Steelers accept responsibility for the tie. They own that.

Well if they can’t run the ball and spike it they certainly can’t throw a 2 yard pass and spike it. Should have just kicked a 60 yarder.

It was stupid for Tomlin to burn that TO earlier and not have it for a FG try.

It would’ve been a 58 yarder. And if Muth gets out of bounds it’s probably a 55-56 yarder. Rudolph should never have thrown that pass with the defender draped all over muth.

I agree. I really thought this was a chance for Mason to prove he had a legitimate chance to be the quarterback of the future. He was playing at home against a win less team that is in the bottom the league against the pass. Everything was setup for him to succeed. I even thought it might help him out that JW was starting.

The fact of the matter is Mason played terrible. His one pick was bad, and he could easily have had two more. He was inaccurate all game long outside of the first drive. I know there was some weather, but to me that is no excuse. This was his shot, and he blew it.

No, he did say that they take responsibility for what happened. I just mistyped "tie" as "loss."

    Fixed the original post.
