As a fan, I am optimistic that the Steelers will prevail over Detroit. I maintain realistic expectations that it is possible they make the playoffs, if they go 4 and 4 for the remainder of the season and split victories with the Ravens, Browns and Bengals.

Assuming the Steelers beat anyone is dangerous. It will be a hard fought game and probably come down to the final few plays, like the Bears game.

Lions have lost several close games this year.

Honestly you can’t assume the Steelers will beat anyone at this point. You can’t really assume they’ll lose to anyone either. They’re a weird team - you’re just never sure exactly what you’re going to get.

I believe we will beat Detroit, but nothing can be taken for granted after a week where buffalo lost to Jacksonville

    On any given Sunday.

Dan Moore is the one Offensive Lineman I am actually worried about now. I do realize that Speed Rushers have given him a fair share of fits. That said, the fact that he has not seem to overcome these woes is starting to concern me a bit. If anything, Tomlin did state after the Bears win that there could be changes coming along the Offensive Line.

If anything, it is likely going to be Chuks on the Left and Banner on the right. That said, that will bring up yet another set of growing pains to a young Offensive Line that has seemingly taken some serious punches to its proverbial chin. Should that be the case, expect Dan Campbell and Aaron Glenn to both dial up some blitzes to test the new tackle tandem early and often.

Swift is fully healthy for the first time this year or at least its the first time he hasn’t been listed on the injury report.

He could give them trouble, Hockenson obviously can.

This would be a good game to have the pass rush working, Goff can’t handle pressure.

Both Ravens games could well be up for grabs.

For the first game, it is sandwiched between the Ravens two games against the Browns. It would be very easy for the Ravens to focus their energies on Cleveland, and not put a best-effort against the Steelers at Heinz Field.

The second game is at the end of the season. If Baltimore is locked into a playoff spot (but not first seed), they might rest most of their starters.

Well, when this team plays, I know what I am going to get. At least a 12 pack, no lose items laying around to throw, and no kids nearby.

I guess we can have a share of 1st place thanks to the Fish.

Never expected to be 6-3. We will see.

If we beat the Lions the Steelers will be alone in first as we currently have the tie breaker over the Ravens.

Absolutely not happening. Steelers get the W and move into first place of AFC North. Now whether they can stay there is another story.

I see the game as a toss-up. The Steelers are favored by 7 but I don't see them covering by that many points.

Fans act only the Steelers lose to lesser teams, last week Dallas was losing to Denver 30-0 at home ended up losing, Jacksonville beat Buffalo who was a -14 point favorite. Miami just beat Baltimore.
