I'm thrilled we won a division game and you're angry that I am, and you think that makes you a better fan.

    Let that sink in.

I’ll start believing if they beat the Chargers next week.

They better find their offense, 15 points isn’t going to cut it. Can’t keep counting on the defense to hold teams to such a low score.

The instrument has yet to be invented that can measure my indifference to how you feel about me. Have a beer and enjoy the win.

Right. The Chargers is the game that kicks off the stretch of games where we will find out if this team is for real.

They will probably beat the Bears and Lions.

It's a game the Chargers will be favored to win, but if the Steelers win the next two games then they can afford a loss to the Chargers, but still be in the wildcard race.

You started this dumb thread and argued with anyone who disagreed with you. Then when you’re wrong you wanna say “I’m happy bye wrong” This was an Epic fail on your part. Total weak sauce.

Remember when you said Garrett and the Browns DL would wreck the Steelers OL, well the Steelers had 4 sacks to the Browns 2 .

At this point looking at the remaining 10 games left there is not one game on there where you take a good hard look at and can truly say that’s an automatic loss and the Steelers have no chance of winning. Awhile back I would have said both the Chargers and Chiefs games on the road were those games but I don’t think so anymore. As you mentioned the Steelers can probably lose the game to the Chargers and still be in both the wildcard and even the AFC North race. This is of course assuming the Steelers beat the Bears and Lions the next 2 weeks and get to 6-3.

The key game the Steelers are gonna need to win is at Cincinnati on November 28th. If they can win that game and get to 7-4 overall and 2-1 in the division heading into the home game with the Ravens at Heinz Field the following week they are gonna be great shape to not only get a wildcard spot but still compete for the AFC North going into December and the final 6 games of the season.

It’s such a pity that they had that short term injury crisis early on, the LV and Cinci games were very winnable if they had even a semi-intact defence.

I’d agree that some of the games on the schedule don’t look as hopeless as they did before the season for various reasons.

Id hope that they’ll be playing meaningful football in December but we have seen them collapse several times in recent years after putting themselves in a good position early on.

They scored 17 and 10 in those losses, Ben had 3 turnovers, leading to short field scores vs. Cincy. They were winnable had our offense had a pulse.

The entire tone of the game changes if the defense holds up better, which happens if they don't have so many injuries. You keep trying to separate the two to sell this particular narrative, but the play of the two units affect one another too much for that to be an effective approach to analysis of the game.

I wouldn't go that far. The Steelers still have some serious problems. They just aren't going to score much, which means they can lose to just about anybody. Hell, they barely beat the Browns, who are a mess right now.

This dude is beyond week. Do you conceited the beach on the season after only four games. More concerned with being right in his doomsday predictions then being happy about what’s best for the team.
