No one here is "preparing to lose to" the Lions. What exactly they are arguing is that this is the NFL, and for people to think that any team, under any circumstances, should always beat another team, is unrealistic.

I agree that other teams have professionals and the Lions played some tough games in the beginning of the year but…….. they look to have folded and thrown in the towel so no any real team should not lose at home to them. Period.

Bunny means a layup Glenn. I don’t take you for much of a hoops guy so a layup means a gimmie or guarantee

We knew going into the season that we had one of, if not the, toughest schedule in the NFL this year. After week 8, there are 4 teams with strength of schedule above .500 (for the entire season) and a winning record. The Cravens are at .509, the Bucs are at .525, the Chargers are at .566, and the Steelers are at .611. The teams we have lost to are 17-6. The teams we've beaten are 25-12. So our current strength of schedule is .700.

We cannot overlook either one, if we want to make noise at end of season, we have
to have these two games. Look back a NE, they always beat who they were suppose too.
BILL never let them slip up.

I don't need to watch game film. It's not about who is worse. Records, stats, careers, rankings, ect don't matter when teams face off.

The only thing that matters is how teams perform during game day. What happened in previous games doesn't matter once teams face each other.

The "tragic" thing is that you haven't learned this as a fan.

Late 40's here. We grew up in the best time...70's, 80's and 90's. Vinyl, 8-tracks, cassettes, CDs, Beta, VHS, DVDs...MTV in the early 80's when it was good. No cell phones, no internet. No Tom Brady.

If that was the case and it didn’t matter who was better or more talented Tom Brady wouldn’t have 27 Super Bowls.

Yes upsets in sports can happen I get that it’s a game and balls can bounce funny etc. all that being said if we lose to Detroit at home it’s pathetic all in the same.
