Ben with a bootleg roll out yesterday, Ben with a QB 2 point keeper up the middle.

I was like what the heck am I watching?

He was very excited to win that game yesterday though.

That was his 1st start at Cleveland since 2018.

He missed 2019 with the Elbow, and he was not active for the reg. season finale there last year.

Reminds me of the one time I went to one of the all you can eat Brazilian steakhouses and drinking red wine.

Ahh… Brazilian rodizios. “Can I still stand up without collapsing due to the pain of being over-full? Yes? Green side up!”

I’ll be going to one of those in the next week or two!

Just watch an old highlight video, and you'll see why. The dude used to been able to move in the pocket with 6 defenders on his back and somehow manage to find an open guy, there was one play this season that reminded me of the old Ben and that was week 2 or 3. He also can no longer throw the ball 40-45 times a game and expect us to win. He has to be a game manager for the Steelers to win. He has been that these past 3 weeks. He's a competitor, I give him that much. I don't think it's so much refusing to do a chunk of Canada's scheme, he's not physically able to.

Well of course He's not what He was, but that is not 2 say He can't, or won't do things. I believe the more He trust His Line the more You will see.
For instance as great as TB is... Tom Brady is not what He was, but He has a great o line, and plethora of weapons.
Also....IMO....No Qb should be throwing it 40- 50 times a game. Not Very balanced IMO.

I won’t comment on Ben because I know where that will get me lol but have to disagree about Brady, he’s probably having his best season ever, guy isn’t human.

I think he will probably decide it’s his time at the end of the season.

A lot depends on how the rest of the year goes. It would be a hard sell to bring him back if they fall flat and miss the playoffs again, which they may well do looking at their schedule.

LoL. We Just have 2 agree 2 disagree about Ben. LoL.
    Now on TB
I believe His stats are better this Year, but I've watched Him 3 times this Year .... if You include Yesterday's game, and He's not the same ...He throws differently, not the same power, and doesn't move in the pocket the same...Not saying bad, but not the same....JMO.
I believe Tampa, Dallas, cleveland , and Rams are just really loaded teams.
Notice the worst Qb it's not helping. LoL.

I travelled to Brazil two or three times a year for the last 20yrs, but haven’t been there in nearly two yrs, thanks to the pandemic.
Churascarias are another thing I miss. If you can get an authentic caipirinha when you go, do it. I generally don’t like sweet drinks, but do like those.

Ben kinda looks like Toby Keith. They are about the same size.

Toby Keith - As Good As I Once Was (Official Music Video) - YouTube

Not really a country music fan, but I find Toby Keith's music funny and relaxing. Good beer drinking music.

This probably is Bens last yr. But, let me propose a low probability scenario: Ben has been decent the last 3 games. QB rating for those is a bit about league avg, but way up for from his first 4 games. Suppose this continues, he appears to buy into the Canada offense, does roll-outs, play action and actual opts to R occasionally during an RPO. The Steelers snag a playoff spot, win a playoff game, but lose a close one to the SB bound Bills.

Ben looks good at the end, and still has an itch to play. Steeler management convinces itself that with Najee and a maturing Oline, the D still excellent, keeping an experienced QB might lead to a special 2022.

it’s not likely but I can see that it’s a possibility.

Ben reminds me of a veteran baseball pitcher near the end of the line. He lost his fastball but is still giving his team quality starts by throwing junk balls and hitting corners.

I think he's done after this season, look at the way he waved to the crowd after the game in Cleveland, if the team doesn't win in the playoffs this year then what's the point of bringing him back next season?

He won't play from under center and wont utilize play action. We are dead last when it comes to playaction and it's because Ben doesn't like to do it.

This is not true my friend unless they changed stats this week... We were like middle of the pack last week when I checked. Also remember....Not only does Ben Like shotgun, and Pistol...So does N. Harris....it's mostly what he ran a Bama....Bama is not the same offense they were 7 years ago.
