Watch the rest of the NFL. Every team eventually loses to a team it shouldn't lose to. Heck, the then division leading Bengals just got embarrassed by the freaking Jets. Tomlin's teams are no more susceptible to this than other teams.

ETA: And with our offense we are absolutely capable of losing to anyone. The defense screws up even slightly and lets the opponent get to 20 and we are probably screwed. Instead of fixating on potential losses we might have people should be doing backflips that we have somehow managed to win 4 games with this team and are right in the division hunt. It is kind of incredible really.

BTW, one of those bunny team would have beaten the Rats if the refs did their job and called a delay of game penalty. Even with that help, it took a 66 yards field goal for the Rats to beat the winless Lions

The Ravens needed the longest FG in the history of the game to win vs the Lions. People can watch the games and still fail to realize how difficult it is to win in the NFL. People can hear coaches and players speak about this fact all the time and fail to reach this conclusion. The incompetence that fans display is well incompetent.

Coaches continue to coach for jobs and players continue to perform for jobs/lucrative contracts regardless of a team's record, stats, ect.

The Lions are coming to win regardless of how feels or players feel about that team. Winning feels better than losing. Winning can bread confidence. Winning gives a foundation upon which to build team success. Ect. ect. ect.

It's hard to talk to people who can't think or remain stuck on stupid.

Records, stats, perceptions, rankings, ect don't mean anything when teams, players, ect ect ect perform vs one another in any sport. Witness this enough and anyone should be able to reach this conclusion in team or individual sports. Athletes are coming to win.

The Bears and the Lions are still NFL teams with NFL calibre players.

    The standard is the standard

I don’t think this Steelers team with this offence can blow anybody out, even if they dominate time of possession. Every game is going to be a nail biter because they struggle so badly put points on the board.

A loss to the Bears or Lions would be disappointed but certainly not a total shock.

I don't believe in gimme wins in the NFL....Ask Tampa against a Saints team with a 3rd string, Bengals losing 2 the Jets, or Tennessee losing 2 the Jets....I just don't believe in gimme. Any team can , and will lose 2 any team in the NFL

The Titans game in December just got a lot easier with Henry out for the season.

Go ask the Ravens if the Lions was a gimme game, they needed a 66 Yard FG bounce off the cross bar to beat the Lions.

Horrible NFL teams are like defective land mines. Teams walk all over them week after week, but eventually they blow up on one of them.

That's a good analogy. I don't think teams generally walk over other teams regardless of a team's record. It's difficult to win. Upsets happen is sports all the time.

At the end of the day, "you" are only as good or bad as your last or current performance. Careers are defined after it's all said and done.

The Lions are getting crushed recently and are winless. How guys on here are preparing to lose to them and rationalizing any given Sunday says a lot about what we all know will happen unfortunately. Odds are definitely good we lose one of these two, our offense sucks

If you think the Lions with Jared Goff are playing tough right now you might want to watch some film. The Eagles who are worst than us just beat them by 40! Some of the stuff you guys come up with to rationalize TOMLIN is hilarious

Tomlin doesn't play football. As long as the players execute the play he's smart. When the players fail, Tomlin sucked.

Lets say Boz makes that trick play work, a lot would have praised Tomlin for the guts to call it. Didn't work, Tomlin sucks.

BTW, I agree that was a dumb call.

I would define a bunny game as a game lost by the Steelers to inferior competition from 2014-2018 (Super Bowl window), while handing the Patriots the #1 AFC playoff seed on a silver platter year after year.
