I have not argued that. When, and where???. You are thinking of someone else. I have said
1. Yes the coaching has helped Him, but its not all coaching .....because if it was they would have kept Trey Lance who they spent 4 draft picks on, and just coached Him up.
2. I've also said if Purdy was drafted 25 years ago He would have been a way higher draft pick.
So I really don't know why You are saying this.
Again coaching can only do so Much.

Trey Lance, and Jimmy G let go by Shanahan because He wasn't good enough.
McVay trading away their Qb because He wasn't good enough .
Daboll brought in to help Danny Dimes.....still not good.
4 different OCs, and HCs for Trubisky....to get one good year out of Him.
Tanahill new coach's, new Ocs ...one good year.
Lamar Jackson they just knew it was his OC for a fact....yet His passing game is worse.
Coaching helps, but it doesn't change a 2 star player into a 5 star player.
