Hi. For my daughters first Steelers game I’d lie to get us 2 tickets as close as possible. Any recommendations on the best ones to get in the stadium? Thank you.

No need to "lie" for them my friend. What kind of example is that setting for your daughter?;) I don't have an answer for you but I'm positive it is easy to find good tickets that Bear season ticket holders will sell.

Your only problem is bringing us home a winner. Hope you and daughter enjoy the game and see a winner!!!!!!!!!!! No need to "die" for tickets.

Lower bowl seats do not have good sight lines . You are better off in upper deck - Sections 530-536 or 507-512 ( lower the seat the better)

Thank you for responding. We’re coming from Nee York to Pittsburgh. It’s been her dream to go to a game and see Ben in person. Just trying to figure out the best seats to get to give her the best experience and also a good place to stay. Thank so much for any advice or suggestions.

Budget will be a big factor in determining the best options for both tickets and accommodations. Are you willing to splurge a bit or trying to keep costs down?

I hope Ben has a young Ben game so she doesn't see a stinker.

There’s a really helpful thread pinned at the top of this forum.

I stayed at the Wyndham at the point. A bit pricier than farther away, but walking distance to the stadium and a lot of downtown stuff.

I’m looking for a more reasonable hotel but willing to splurge on tickets to give her a great experience at the stadium.

If money is not a factor, the best seats are club seats 232-238. I sit in that area, and I wouldn’t trade for any other area. Aside from a good view, the lines are shorter, there is an indoor area, and with daughters, the fans aren’t as drunk.

I think it is a matter of personal preference. Generally, I prefer lower bowl behind the bench (132-137), high enough to see most of the action (say ~row P) yet close enough to see the players on the sidelines. Aisle preferred.

It is fun to be up close to the players in the first rows to see and possibly interact with the bench but harder to see the action on the field.

I don't mind the lower upper deck to see the entire play develop and the entire field (unlike TV) but I don't think it is as intense.

Club level is nice for more comfort which could be good as someone suggested, depending on ages and anxiety of dealing with the masses.

Ok, I purely intend this jokingly.
These sections are right in front of me and are excellent seats.

When I look down upon them I keep referring to them to my wife as “the peasants”.

For reasonable hotels, you’ll definitely have to be out of the downtown area. I was going to recommend the Wyndham Grand or Sheraton Station Square, but those will likely be in the $250-$450 range.

I printed a schedule for my fridge at start of season. First time I really took a look at it was last week. Turns out all 17 games on it are away games or at least the Steelers are listed first all 17.

Perhaps vs. or ‘at’/@ would be the indicator?

Thanks everyone. This has been really helpful. I made the trip once for the Steelers-Ravens championship game and will never forget it. Can’t wait to go back and with my daughter too. Is it best to buy some Steelers clothes at the stadium or is there a better spot in the area to go before? Thanks so much.

Bargains to be had on the strip. Low quality as well as the nice pricey stuff strewn about.

This hotel sound okay? Drury inn and suites. Looks kind of middle of the road and good enough for 1 night.

I bet it's better than the place I stayed in at KC.. 2 watch the Steelers.
You know when the door has had multiple locks put in different spots from how many times the doors been kicked in....You are staying in a bad spot. LoL

To help clarify for an out of tower, the strip is “the strip district” mostly Penn Avenue from16th to about 22nd streets.
