Lockett and DK had 9 catches for 83 yards and no TDs, that was the defensive gameplan, I doubt anybody on the team is listening to a halftime interview to get tips.

I don’t blame TOMLIN for initially thinking they would pass down 14 but after they kept slamming it why no adjustment? That is the most maddening thing about TOMLIN he just thinks we do what we do and that’s it.

The coaches didn’t scheme missed tackles. The scheme wasn’t the problem, the execution was.

I know we need to fix the run defense but without Alualu and Tuitt the talent on the Dline drops off dramatically. Wormley is a backup, Buggs is inconsistent and Loudermilk needs to bulk up. He is listed as 6' 7"' but only 240 lbs that seems really light to play DE in a 3-4.
The more I watch Bush the more unimpressed I am , he gets washed out easily on run plays or takes bad angles and when he does get there his tackling is weak. Of course bad attempts or total whiffs were common last night. Hilton tackled better than most of what we saw last night and he was 185.

I see that the roster shows Loudermilk listed at 240. That has to be a typo. He was listed at around 295 in college, and he doesn’t look any smaller than he did then.

Bush and Joe Schobert actually looked like they were wearing skates last night. I think they were trying to impersonate Will Ferrell and Jon Heder in "Blades of Glory".

So Pete ran over to the Steelers locker room and told them what they were going to do?? Seems like they made the adjustment that was necessary just in time. What's the problem?? Where's the same angst towards the offense?

If you watch this team under Tomlin you can tell they just do not practice situational football enough. They never know when to challenge certain plays, when to use timeouts late in the half or near the end of the game or anything along these lines. They are just not a well prepared team. Simple situations that myself and I’m sure others on here see clear as day Tomlin does not and it just frustrates the hell out of me.

finally someone mentioned the painfully obvious. To be out coached requires losing.

7 defenses held offenses to two scores or less this weekend. Why can't the Steelers do that? They look elite for about half the game then terrible in the other half making them an average defense. Tired of people acting like this defense is something special giving up 20 points to Geno Smith.

Needing OT to beat Geno Smith and one of the worst running defenses is basically a loss.

Uhhhh...am I missing something here? If Seattles offense only scored two times doesnt that mean they held them to the two scores criteria you speak of above??....Special teams scores are not offensive scores or did you just invent a new way of attributing scores in the NFL???

Happens in MLB a lot. The right move, the smart move but the player couldn't execute and it backfires on you.

Except it isn't a loss in the standings, style points don't matter.
