Yeah but the guy that made the tackle looked like he was protecting that third of the field. Something tells me that Claypool is supposed to at least get in that guys way of rallying to the catch.

Not new, got interested in them about the time they hired Noll and drafted Mean Joe Greene. It didn’t used to be this way. In fact, they usually got a lead, the defense held it, and they ran the clock out. It was pretty boring at times. But this stuff it probably causing strokes.

I know this for sure. The woman in your avatar doesn't go for a man with no possession.

Right. I watch other games and they come down to the wire, but if our game is close then we suck.

I'm glad and surprised that we won. It took a fg with 2 minutes left in OT to beat a now 2-4 team lead by Geno Smith.

You know what's hilarious, any idiot(guess you haven't risen to that level yet) who knows ANYTHING about the Tomlin lead Steelers, knew that the game was in serious jeopardy. But you, trying to be "cool" I suppose, standing tough with a mighty sneer on your face, felt the need to dismiss and try to humiliate me. I hope it felt good. I see you got your yucks from the other members. Good for you. You should be proud. You proved that you're the superior being. It must feel great to be you. Your defiance to my skepticism is what won the game for the Steelers. Your broad and sturdy back carried the load for the team in defiance of all the "trolls" that you so easily labeled during the game. Your label of "troll" has branded these nut sacks(myself included) as worthless individuals, who's feelings and opinions are as useless and unwelcome as "the clap". Everyone of your 13,000 posts are tantamount to a TED talk. Reading them makes me question my place in the universe. If there is a god, my only hope is that when he does reveal himself to the world, that he doesn't belittle himself by doing it in your presence. Imagine the bad reputation our savior would acquire if he revealed his glory in the presence of jeh1856? He would feel like the rest of us I'd imagine, totally inadequate. I don't know the pressure's of living with that kind of greatness, so I'll just defer to yours. If possible, could you try to describe to us soup eaters what it's like to be in command of the universe? The excitement, I imagine, is overwhelming, yes? It must get tiresome dealing with us lower beings I would imagine? All I can say is, no apology that I can offer will ever make things right again. I'm out and I know it. The real question is, where do I go from here? How do I redeem myself in your eyes? I ask that because, clearly, your eyes, and your opinion are all that matters. How do you pick up the pieces when your self worth has been reduced to that of a carnival barker at the Hazard County Fair? Thankfully I've just added mental heath to my medical coverage. The question is, where do I begin in therapy? Talking about my mother and how her death affected me, or the night that our very messiah, jeh1856, demolished me in front of all my peers? I feel like dealing with the jeh1856 situation is probably more important. Sorry mom. You're gone, while jeh1856 is eternal. While you did give birth to me, and raise me till I was 16, that pales in comparison to what jeh1856 has done. The seismic aftershocks of this night will reverberate through the rest of my life like Freddy Kruger's blade's on a chalkboard. I just ask that you recognize your power over the other board members and you not manhandle them the way that you did me. I'm a precautionary tale. I should've known not to step out of line but mistakes are made in life. Not by you, jeh1856, but I just ask that you empathize with us useless fools. Please sire. Please Lord.

BTW, feel free to write a novel in response, I'll never see your "blocked" response. Nobody speaks to me that way. Especially some self important jack*** on a football message board. Later genius!

We're not the only team, no. But year in and year out, the Steelers are always a team that you can count on losing to a far inferior opponent, making a backup QB look like Joe Montana or taking a bad team down to the wire. Is this your first year watching the team?

My thought too! It's one thing if the play is opposite, but it's right behind you! Do something!

Hey, S.T.D, I take my hat off to you for sticking with Ben. :hi:

His performance wasn't perfect but he looked back to his old self for much of the game.

Ed Bouchette just said it's the most hollow victory he can remember and he feels worse about the team than before the game.

He's been covering this team for forty years. Maybe he's just another troll?

ED is a writer. You’re not. You’re just a guy searching for negativity in something positive.
