I’m blaming Spillane. He’s just in there getting in the way of both of the safeties. Didn’t even attempt a tackle or show that he knew the guy had the ball.

 

It always amazes me when I see guys falling all over each other trying to keep the ball out of the end zone, and all they end up doing is pushing the ball into the end zone. All they had to do was not even touch it lol. Happens so often in the NFL

 

Once Seahawk bats it we need to pick it up and run. No risk, all reward. Too many guys on punt coverage don't seem to know the rules

Edmunds had the clean shot at him and missed. Fitzpatrick could have taken a better angle rather than diving, but he knew he couldn't surrender too much ground without giving up a first down. Then there was Spillane, who was in perfect position, but way too damn slow to catch the back.

 

Team game. You are right, if Edmunds makes that tackle it's over. It does not give Fitz a pass for missing nor the other 3 guys that missed after Fitz.
