A few heads up plays to note that could easily go unnoticed, and speaks I think to coaching.
    1) Rookie Pierre catching J Williams from behind to make that tackle before the end zone was huge and goes to not giving up on the play because others screwed up. That led to the Bush sack thus relegating the Broncos to 3 points instead of 7 or 8.
    2) don’t know if anyone caught it but rookie Kendrick Green’s speed and athleticism in the tacklie from Ben’s fumble again may have saved points on the board and was crucial.
    3) Claypoole having the presence of mind to stay in bounds after an exciting catch.
    4) The lines push, particularly the physicality of rookie Friermueth assisting Big Dan for the Najee touchdown, well done Mueth. That’s the kind of play that can go unnoticed and needs to be called out.

I have no expertise other than being a fan but all of the above with rookie or relatively new players, to me, speaks to coaching. As much as I have to complain about in our 4rth quarter Melt Down I have to give Kudos to the coaching and fundamentals. A mistake n any of the above could have cost us the game.

The Browns message board is exploding over that call. They want everyone from the Whitehouse down to the local tax collector to bring the refs to court on criminal charges. lol

Part of me has sympathy because I know how I would react to a call like that.

Part of me is amused it's happening to someone else.

Winning percentage goes way up for steelers when #7 throws less than 35 times per game, proven fact thruout his 18 year career. it really is that simple, #7 needs
a running game always has always will. He will/ has thrown it to the other team way too often in his 18 year career.

Can't wait for Banner to comeback at RT.

And if they move Chuks to LT, someone should be fired!!!

Steelers need to crush teams. This hasn't happened since 2014 when Ben went on a 2-game massacre vs. Colts and Ravens and posted 12 TD passes. Of course, the following week... Steelers lost to Vick and the Jets.

Buggs looked good this preseason as NT. Hopefully Loudermilk will turn out to be a nice draft pick at DE when he develops.

I don't know what to say about Tuitt as I thought he was ready to take over as our best All Pro defensive end on the team.

Yea Sutton is one of the better WR’s he will face this season and JP was basically left on an island trying to cover him at times

He did fine and is hopefully developing in to a starter. A young stud cornerback to fill Hadens shoes is still probably the teams biggest need after QB however.

That really was a bad call. But hey, every team gets them. Considering how a lot of the fan base reacted last week to that offsides call, we really don't have a lot of room to talk either.

I saw today that the Browns were the first team in NFL history to score over 40 points, have more than 500 yards of total offense, to not turn the ball over and still lose the game. lol

Well... at the very least, the Offensive Line is beginning to gel. Not a moment too soon either as the schedule will heat up. Only a matter of getting better at this point from here on out.

Another good test will be against Seattle. Granted, that defense is playing HORRIBLE but I believe that the way Jamal Adams is being used is much to blame. He is an impact box safety..... not a multi role one a la Minkah or Derwin.

Najee Harris is the alpha and omega of the 2021 Steelers. The Steelers will succeed or fail on his account. He is our only hope...like Luke Skywalker in Star Wars.

    True.....

However, much like Luke, he even needed some assistance. That Offensive Line is Najees.... quite like how Yoda was to Luke.

You are the one who wanted to make Star Wars allusions. Therefore, you need to accept some culpability in this as well. No point in running from this.

..... not that I am going to let you live this down anyways. :lolol:
