What's the scoop, if anyone from Pittsburgh knows? I haven't seen any new info since it was reported he went to the hospital.

If he can get out there he will. He is a gamer.

Son of a .....!!!!! Injuries killing us this season. What gives? I thought the new equipment and rules help to minimize injuries. I would think conditioning is much more advanced now days. I was too young to notice injuries in the 60's but there must have been 10 a game with the equipment they wore.

The again the human body is the same and is not made for collisions.

Yep. Sucks. Still haven't seen exactly what the injury is. Hope he gets back to 100% next season even if it's not for us. I like Washington. Always have. Maybe this works out in the end. Let James play and if he succeeds they can give him a new deal keeping him the #3 for a while. DJ and CC are good as the top 2 with me.

Sad to see his Steelers' career end this way after such a promising start.

Every team has injuries. So far we've lost a DL and WR, two of the deeper positions on the team. Najee's the one guy they can't afford to lose. They've already built the O around him and it falls apart when he goes out.

Do not be surprised if his Steelers career is not over. He wasn't exactly tearing it up throughout the first 5 games of the season. His value now, would be less than it was after 2020, especially coming off this injury.

The Steelers take good care of their injured players. My guess is that they make him an offer to return. It might be the best offer JuJu gets.

Anybody have a link to the play he got injured on? Somehow my TV switched channels and by the time I got back to the game JUJU was going off the field.

Time to give Larry Fitzgerald a call and see if he wants to play here. He is a free agent and bringing him in would be perfect at this point. I’m making this move ASAP. Having Cody White as a 4th receiver on this team isn’t good enough.

well... a lowball offer. He missed out on the Rats deal. So, yes - we may see him back on the cheap - and if we can, give him a 3 yr cheap deal....

I'm sure it's out there. He took a very hard shoulder-pad/helmet shot to his upper right arm, which he had lowered to take the contact. He was clearly in a lot of pain and the trainers were supporting his arm as he walked off. It could be one of several things in that area like a torn bicep/triceps muscle or a separated shoulder or a broken clavicle, etc.

I just saw it. That looked brutal for a collision like that.

Oh man, that is too bad! JuJu is still my favorite current receiver. He is a Steeler through and through! I know quite a few knock him for his TikTok antics, but he is a young talented player who enjoys the game and loves to have clean fun with it. Prayers for the best of health JuJu!

No way he re-signs with the Steelers to be a part of this offense. He'll sign a 1-year prove it deal somewhere where his YPC will be higher than 8.

Also, David DeCastro would like a word about how the Steelers treat injured players.

That's a valid point about DeCastro. I think there was more to that situation than any of us know. JMO.

Injuries have had a much larger impact on this team than just losing a defensive lineman and a receiver. They haven't all been season-ending injuries, but the defense was decimated by injuries for the losses to the Raiders and Bengals. They have been without their starting right tackle all season. They have been without Tuitt all season. It looks like they lost Bush again. Every team has injuries, but let's be honest about what has really gone on with the Steelers this season.
