A top five pick, or a few meaningless wins and a mid-round pick? I love the Steelers, but I am a realist. Even with the win today, it wasn't particularly impressive. I would rather have the top five pick. This is not a playoff team.

I’d rather win enough games and make the playoffs.

I think it is a pertinent question. This team is in a transitional phase and is not a contender, if we are honest with ourselves they will probably battle it out with the strangely overrated Bengals to avoid finishing bottom of the division.

I’d like a top 5 pick but I think this team is too good and they will get 6-8 wins

Give me the wins, this draft isn't loaded with franchise QBs.

I think a better question is would you rather root for a franchise that tanks for picks, or one that always plays to win? Just a reminder that Tom Brady and Antonio Brown were taken in the 6th round btw. Even Ben Roethlisberger was an 11th pick in the first round after Eli Manning and Philip Rivers. I'd rather the Steelers keep doing what they're doing. Screw tank culture.

Not saying you but some on the board. Wouldn't the coaching staff just blow the top 5 pick potential? Like, wouldn't be coached up and would suck anyway. So what's the point?

I'd rather give a sh*t in December than April.

I get what you're saying. But after so many years with Tomlin and Ben you know what's ultimately gonna happen. There's no mystery with this team anymore and my days of hoping for them are gone. At least the way they're currently constructed.

Top 5 pick is hardly a guarantee for future success. I'd rather have more celebratory Sundays.

A win I didn't see on the schedule a couple weeks ago, and the Browns and Bengals lost. Gotta make it count by sweeping the next three home games. They're still below where I thought they needed to be after five games to be a playoff team.

I want to win every game. If we get to week 18 and are out of contention, and have a chance to move up a few slots with a loss, I’m still going to root for a win. You never want losing to be acceptable to anyone, be it players or coaches. That’s a great way to encourage a losing culture.

I pick winning games as opposed to to tanking. The drinks tasted better, the food tasted better, the people around me were more bearable...**** my nap even felt better. Today doesn't make me more confident in how the season will pan out, but it's great to get a dubya nonetheless.

Teams should work to improve. Work to improve and you can win now and in the future.

The Oline and other players appear to be showing steady progress because they continue to work to play better. I don't think the same progress would be shown if the team tanked.

Never know how a season will play out. I'll take winning. Winning feels better than losing. A top 5 pick guarantees nothing.
