2005 had Antwaan Randle El. He sucked when Tomlin brought him back for 2010 (which kept sanders and brown on the sideline). However in 2005 he was real good

Close - Sweed was such a complete zero, though. No dominant #1 on any of the three.

I think both these groups had O-lines that were light years ahead of the current O-line. With an aging QB and a rook RB, it doesn't matter how good the receivers are. QB can't throw past 15 yards accurately, O-line is still trying to gel, so RB and WO skills are mute. If we had a QB who could hit the deep pass, the running game would open up. If we had a good/ great O-line that could run block, we would be 4 yards and a cloud of dust. We have a sub-par QB, a rook RB, and a young O-line trying to gel. No matter how good the WOs are, if you don't have a QB who can get it deep, and a run game that can scare the defense, your WOs aren't doing diddly.

Right, which says nothing of his ability as a WR, which was meh.

The pass was a nice spiral and in stride, defender on his heels. Looked pretty good imo

Here’s one of our crappy WR’s beating one of the best corners in the game.

Different type of WRs. Johnson could be AB like if he could put it all together. He pushed off on that play too.

You see on that play Ben step up in the pocket. He only did that because he knew it was a free play. Did he ever do that again all game? That's why I think a lot of the issues is his confidence after the end of last year + his confidence in the o-line.

Exactly why I don't fall into the Ben is done category. Give Him a Pocket He Trust. At least Half the time.

He had that much more than half the time last week and couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.

He had pockets vs. the Raiders and couldn't pull the trigger downfield.

He's cooked, you're just the last to see it.

    Whatever You say.
    I've seen cooked Qbs.
    He's not one of them.
Is He what He was ....No.
    T. Brady isn't what He was....A. Rodgers isn't what he was...., but they both have good 2 great O- lines, and Good 2 great teams around them. If You don’t believe that. Well I'm wasting My time answering You.
Please None of Your so called Stats...I can Bring stats of the So called Cooked Ben before His Line started 2 break down last Year.

He's like the old golfer who plays a couple good holes every 18 and thinks he still has what it takes.
