I'm not sure if anyone else mentioned this in any other posts? But, we SUCK this year!

 

I thought it would take me 10 full games to start my annual FMTI rants but low and behold I was there in the middle of game 3 this season. Too bad nothing will ever come of it.

 

Promote Mike Tomlin! Be careful where you place him.

 

For the record, I mentioned the Steelers sucked in the predict the score for Broncos game thread.

But the counter is stuck, kind of like the Steelers offense.

 

What is scary is that Tomlin might get another extension after the season.

 

He will be coach of the year for turning it around in 2022.

 

No JAD, no he won’t. He has a contract through the end of the 2024 season. A new contract, at best, will be considered in July of 2023. Please think and get the facts before posting.

 

Exactly that's how the boring Rooney's have always operated. I wouldn't be shocked that if Tomlin underperforms in the next couple seasons, they won't dismiss but rather just wait for the contract to expire.

Of course. I think illustrated what someone posted somewhere about Rooney's priority of Loyalty over Winning. I think there are other factors involved as well that supersede winning as a priority. I am not a Rooney expert but that is what I think.

 

For the record I believe you had them sucking at the start of last season.
