Tomlin going full cliche in his presser.....we won't blink.....blah, blah, blah. I have always liked Tomlin yet I'm starting to think it's time for a change.

 

It's like a TV show that's been on way too many seasons.

 

Najee was the only bright spot in this game

 

They can't compete for a playoff spot with Ben.....to keep him in there is giving up on the season for one player.

 

The worse part of the game today was that the Titans-Jets couldn't go into 5 OTs.

 

I disagree. I think people are ****-full of a team shooting for 8-8, instead of play-off position. I think empty seats are gonna be the status quo as long as Tomlin and Ben are hanging around, no matter whether Covid is here or eradicated. And yes, hanging around is the proper way to phrase it, they are both past their usefulness.

Honestly what do you want him to say? He can't publicly say "This team sticks. Our QB stinks. We have no chance of making the playoffs."

There's a reason it's called coachspeak. That's what they do. All of them.

No other teams coach spits out cliches like Tomlin does. So no they don't all do it.

Hello all!! Sorry I could not comment on today's game!! Have been battling severe muscle aches along with a migraine and a fever to boot. To say my weekend did not go well could be quite an understatement indeed.


I did observe what I could, taking breaks in between as I was attempting to heal. Needless to say though, it is possibly best that I did not see the whole game at all. Given how both Twitter and Steelers Reddit were reacting for the duration of the game.... it seems that the same issue still remains.



Again, and, one more time, problems you can solve but issues you cannot. Until you can begin to make that issue into a problem that can be solved, that issue will become a bigger obstacle to overcome. However, I fear this will not be the last time.....


.... for this is likely to continue.

I think some people forget that the post game stuff is a contractual obligation lol.

The last thing any of these guys wanna do is talk to the press after a game. They are never gonna tell a reporter the truth of how the feel about guys.

 

He can spew as much cliche as he wants as long as he makes changes. What’s in place is not working and there’s no chance of it working.

 

Tomlin used every cliche he has and then some. Tony Romo sounds smarter then our coaches Ben does't have enough time they should use a TE or a RB to chip the DE, FREAKING BRILLIANT.
Diontae isn't that bright or the coaches haven't explained it to him when you get within 2 ft of the first down don't change direction and go backwards. Broken coverage leads to a big gain and the broken coverage is on Haden and Minkah two experienced guys. Too many missed tackles , terrible Oline , Ben has lost his accuracy, barely able to hit Harris crossing right infront of him.

 

LOL. There's a reason why clips like "Playoffs!?" are funny and memorable because it's anti-coachspeak. They all do it.

What's most frustrating is we weren't outclassed physically.

Our execution, and Ben's timing with receivers is horrific.
