Newton had a better team around him than Vick had. Carolina's roster was stacked in 2015.

If You say so. 2 be Honest....I think they both suck. I wouldn't want either on My team, but If I had 2 in their prime. I would have taken Cam. JMO.
2 My thoughts, any Qb that their Whole career is riddled with the....They never Had weapons....that is a sure sign of .....they (Qbs)Just may not Be that good.
Now if You say this Year , or that Year they didn't have weapons....I get that, but a whole career. Hard 2 Buy that.
We are already seeing that in ravensville. Every time they lose a playoff game. He just doesn't have weapons, and most of these type of Qbs can't just get free agent Wrs...because they don't want 2 play with them.

Sorry I edited that out, my bad.
I was wondering who was left out of Ben's draft class, all positions.

Vick has stated he believes lamar is faster. I don't believe that personally but he is in the ball park.

Cam isn't the best running qb and what he did is different than lamar. That year in the superbowl he faced one of the bets defenses of all time that made everybody look bad.

Baltimore didn't get lucky when Mahomes threw an interception. They got insanely lucky when Edwards-Helaire fumbled away the game. The Chiefs were already in range for the go-ahead field goal and moving the ball at will.

The blown no-call before the long field goal bouncing off the crossbar and over isn't lucky?

    You're funny.

No, he really wasn't. His prime certainly wasn't as good as Newton's.

That tells us more about how little you understand the game than it does about the ability of Jackson. He's good. He is certainly better than Roethlisberger at this point, but he is extremely limited as a passer. As Heinz already posted, Allen and Herbert are definitely better, just to start the list.

He also had terrible work habits and struggled with accuracy. Even Vick admitted that he didn't prepare properly until after his time in prison.

Really. Ben threw for 380 yards , and 3 TDs against that same team in December of that same Season, and Won. So...
    Try again.

Well we were talking about Vick and Cam, he wouldn't have won MVP if he went say 6-10, so he gets credit for going 15-1.

That style of play by Lamar won't win a Super Bowl.

Cam was a different type of runner, he could score TDs, Vick never led his team to anything like Cam did.

I dig it, but I think there is a big difference between judging the talent of players, and the success and esteem of an organization. Barry Sanders has 6 playoff appearances, only won 1 (biased, cause like you with Cam, I think Barry was the best RB I have ever seen). But, What The Chief and Emperor Chaz built in the 70s will never be matched, IMO. 4 Championships in 6 years is as good as it gets. It took Patsies nearly 20 years to get 6 with the goat. And if Ronald O’Donnell hadn’t been a schmuck, and Mendy hadn’t fumbled.... but shoulda, coulda, woulda. It has been said many times (even Tomlin said it when talking about Parker and rushing titles: “when I walk into the Steelers office, I walk by 6 Lombardis, not 6 rushing titles”. The Steelers should always be geared toward championships.
Also, thanks for the respect, much appreciated, and much respect back. Tensions get high around here when the Steelers are down on their luck. Good looking out, my friend! Cheers, and go Steelers!

You know who has over half of those yards and 2 tds right? Anyways you saw what happen in the playoffs and you saw who cam had? His best wr was ted Ginn. They weren't doing anything against that defense.

Yeah I saw US almost beat them...again...with No Ab, No L. Bell, and No DeAngelo Williams. If not for a fumble by the 3rd string RB ...We Win again.
Like I said countless times before....Seems Cam Newton never had any weapons...same will Be said about Lamar...funny isn't it????
People will say well Why don't You want that type of Qb....Well You just can't ever seem 2 get Them any weapons....No matter what You do:shrug:
