I felt like he had ample time the majority of the time to get rid of the ball but his pump fakin ass got his sacked alot.. He is a play away from being retired through injury.

Probably not but worth finding out for sure, that’s why they picked him up. Ben sure isn’t one anymore.

Yes. Watson hasn't really done anything but cry about his situation in Texas. The team situation not his personal one.

Use the draft or free agency to find a future starter, Haskins ain't it.

Ben finishing the season had to be on their mind. Haskins was a good choice for this year imo.

Maybe bring Todd Haley back and Ben would quit?

What would you rather do, spend the rest of this lost season answering that question or they go into next season thinking they have a QB in Rudolph or Haskins? What you believe doesn’t matter, look at it from the organizations perspective.

At worst, they go into the draft knowing they have to address it, at best, one of those two steps up.

Mason would probably be mangled if he started the last 2 games. Canada's offense need a qb that can read a defense pre-snap or a guy with wheels?

While I surely want to draft the next franchise QB, after seeing Chicago play this year, I'm starting to wonder if Mitch Trubisky is actually a decent QB. He did a hell of a lot more with that team than anyone else. After a year learning behind Allen, he may well be a Tannehill-Darnold type to take a 2nd chance on. At least he's mobile and has a strong arm so he may fit with what Canada wants to do.

I got yelled at for hoping for an injury but I was only hoping for a very mild injury just to take him out of the game. No way in hell Tomlin will bench a healthy Ben. Ben would need the best O-line in the NFL to be effective and that ain't happening:(

We also are not seeing what najee can really do running the ball because of O-line but he was our leading receiver in the game which just ain't right.

Me too. And it's wrong. If Hitler would have died in 1938 there would probably be statues of him in Germany. If Ben would have hung it up after last season his love would be 4-ever in the Burgh.

The day the Bengals drafted Joe they were no longer the "sad" Bengals. For me, the AFCN will be a great battle between the other 3 teams while we become a doormat for awhile. Going to take awhile for us to be a threat again.

This defense when all hands are aboard is a damn good D. They can make things happen but it still won't be enough to compensate for one of the worse O's in the NFL.

I still think he will be a good one. Growing pains and I wish those pains were being suffered as a Steeler.;)

We can dicker about how much blame to assign to Ben but it is pretty clear that he is not the solution to any of the problems facing the offense. He is done and does not trust himself. Even when he has time he does nothing with it. We should be using this year to find out about the other two QBs and to institute whatever we want the offense to look like moving forward. Try to get an identity in place for whoever the next guy is.

NFL fans have short memories. What have you done for me lately. I have trouble seeing the fans booing Ben after all he has brought to the Burgh.

Will be interesting to see how it goes at the Denver game.

After talking to many Steeler fans last night it seems I'm not the only one. At least I'm just hoping a stubbed toe. I heard some nasty **** fans hope happen to him. They seem to forget all he has done for the Steelers over the years.

Again for the people in the back:

Ben will start the rest of the season unless he has a major injury.

It kills me that people think any other QB is gonna change the outcome.

if we get a new QB our line is gonna block better, we will all of a sudden get 150 rush yards a game, Canaday will all of a sudden call better plays on 3rd and 6 or 4th and 10. The receivers will automatically run the right routes and have glue on their hands.

Heck maybe putting Rudolph or Haskins in might also get us some pass rush with our backups and also might make our DBs play better.

Well for starters they can throw to all levels of the field, that’s gotta help.

They need to draft Desmond Ridder next year. Or Malik Willis.
