I know his time here ended badly, but we can't ignore what JH did during his time as a Steeler. I think his pick 6 with a 100yd return is possibly the greatest super bowl play ever.
His presence and intimidation was up there with any of the great former LB's we have had the pleasure of seeing in black n gold.
Hell yeah I will watch it and record it and watch it a few more times.

This is how I feel too. I was pissed he left and how he did it ...but his story really is impressive.

Anybody watch it? If you did, there is no way you can walk away having any hate on James. He was awesome and funny! I've said all along I had nothing against him for going to the Patriots after being cut. I am still a huge fan of James Harrison. It was great to see team mates as well as opponents sing his praises as well.

I just watched it, absolutely amazing! As I recently posted in another thread recently:

I will always remember him fondly for the time he put in here, he was a throwback that had the mean streak and passion that embodies the physicality, meaness and grit of a Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker, not to mention he is still our all time sack leader at 80.5.

I mean man, the video below brings back some awesome memories, remember some of these huge hits, brutal! This was when you could still land punishing hits and Harrison definitely hit the hardest!

I still fantasize at him pile driving Goodell into the ground, or at the very least, maybe body slamming him similar to what he did to that Browns fan.

Also, great article that I read recently:
    https://steelersdepot.com/2021/05/a...ime-james-harrison-body-slammed-a-browns-fan/

I admit that I hated him for going to New England but understand where he was coming from now, not that I agree with how he acted when he left here.

    Great I missed it.

I'll have to look for it some other time. Anybody know when it will air again?

Edit: I see it airs again at Midnight.

I'm recording the midnight airing. For those who already watched, did they hype his acting career?

I saw a trailer for a STARZ series titled Heels, which is about fictional pro wrestlers, and noticed a huge, familiar-looking guy in a few of the shots. Harrison is playing a wrestler known as Apocalypse.

Edit to fix where the show airs. It is on STARZ, not Appole+. Also adding a link to a free full episode on YouTube. I have no idea if it is any good, but I may fast forward through just to see if Harrison can actually act a little.

The unreal thing about that stat is that he wasn't a starter until age 29.

It was fun to watch how his former teammates were razzing him and talking about the nickname "Two-Day-Vet" where he would walk up to veterans in the weight room and say "Get off my machine". Also the sarcasm after he had an interception in practice and they said run to the end zone and he replied "Oh, is that what I'm supposed to do with it." The bantering with his mom was also cool. You knew how close he is with her and how proud she is of him.

Two favorite moments was hearing him say Buts gets tighter on game day so that diarrhea can't get through and the second was Porter and Tomlin sidestepping the fact that they screwed up. Heyward would only say that both sides had done things wrong. The whole thing was just messed up. Still love that he considers himself a Steeler no matter what.

Silverback, one of the last Steelers that intimidated opponents.
So sad we do not have one of these guys left on roster.
