Tomlin is ineffective and should be fired if we lose to the Bengals

100% convinced Steelers headed to the good old years of the 80's so I say keep Tomlin, at least I can still brag we only had 3 HC's in last half century+.

 

Finally someone who pretty much says what I say, a coach is as good as the players he has. I've never seen a coach make a play but seen plenty of plays that make a coach. People forget Billy boy was a Browns coach. Andy had McNabb in Philly who gave them a chance and now has Mahomes.

 

I need to ask: Did OP actually join this message board just to drop this bomb? I generally lurk on a message board a few days to check out the lay of the land, but hell, this one joins and on day one drops the 437th Fire Tomlin thread of 2021.

 

The Patriots won championships before Brady became great. If you don't think Belichick had something to do with that team's dominance, you truly don't understand the game.

It is harder to see a coach's impact while watching a particular game, so I get why you were fooled into thinking that way.

 

I want Tomlin gone , probably more than anyone on here but.... It's not gonna happen!

Sucks this year, Blame it on Ben and all the new Linemen....Suck next year ( Ben would be gone then I'd assume ) So, you can blame on either the new Rookie, or Mason...

Suck the year after that...THEN, I think Tomlin would be put on notice...Suck the year after that ( that would be year 4 of sucking, including this one, if you lost count )...

THEN...He would be let go...So, We'd have to suck this year PLUS 3 more years, For Popcorn to be gone!

Rooney won't do it before based on my highly credible, and we'll thought out timeline...

I agree totally with your comment. We’ve been average now for 10 years with no realistic shot at title and I don’t see it changing.
