I'm worried about the Bengals. We have one of the worst offenses in the league. We could lose to anyone.

If the defense that finished the LV game starts the Cincy game, we could get run out of the stadium. Need to get some guys back.

I know what a drop is, the point is Claypool needs better technique in catching those 50/50 balls.

I do not need to go further than the offensive line cannot run or pass block. Fix that and everything else will fall into place.

We need to worry about the Bnegals game first, then the Packers, if those injured players on defense can't play we're doomed :lolol:.

We really are doomed without Haden. What magical CB can we get from the practice squad?

Claypool’s biggest issue is he hasn’t figured out how to use his size. He’s a big guy that plays small.

Are you taking the Bengals for granted? After what happened last year? With Burrow and without Haden.... Bengals could easily post 30+ points.

That's what I posted earlier he needs to learn better techniques, use his size to his advantage on those smaller DBs.

I thought you were taking the Bengals for granted, because you were already talking about the Green Bay game.

We don't need a magical CB from the practice squad, we have Justin Layne to step in and play :hehehe:.

No I wasn't taking the Bengals for granted. I picked them to win. If Watt, Highsmith, Haden and Bush are out....chances are good Steelers will lose. Along with AluAlu out forever.

Funny. He is worse than Burns. At least Burns had a good rookie season.

Brown was better than Claypool. Brown was better than every receiver in the NFL for a while.

That said, Claypool doesn't have a drop this season. Anyone who thinks otherwise does not know what qualifies as a drop.

Big problem here - Ben has JuJu wide open in MOF, afraid to pull trigger.

Washington is the only Steeler credited with a drop after two games. People confuse PBUs with drops, apparently.

Yeah, he has to make those throws. The line is still the biggest problem on offense, but the lack of a passing game over the middle is right there with it.

The funny thing about some of the critiques of Ben on this throw and others is that there is no consideration of what the WR did on the route. All anyone looks at is were the ball ended up in relationship to the WR. I'm not saying our amazing probowl caliber WR's would do this but maybe, just maybe once in a while they don't run a clean route? Maybe on this play Claypool was supposed to be angling more towards the sideline? OR maybe he was angling that way and slightly changed his route towards the inside? When Ben released the ball maybe it was perfectly on target? Watching the replay it does actually look like Claypool was angling to the sideline early in his route. Just saying there's more to it then what many are trying to make it out to be. Maybe that ball was off by a couple feet? Maybe Claypool had more than enough time to get him self in position to catch that ball while it was in the air? Isn't that what good WR's do? That wasn't exactly a quick 5 yard pass.

Did you both miss him skying over the Bills defender in week 1 to get the rally started? He had the defender walled off to the outside last week and Ben threw it too far left. He still almost made a circus catch.
