Lost Wages Raiders at Pittsburgh Steelers, official Game Day Thread

Well, since we won last week after I started the official game day thread, I will do so again. The Steelers are favored to win, and I hope this is not one of those games that we have each year in which they are favored, but lose. Looks like a perfect afternoon for football! Will Muth or the Nadjmeister choose today to have a breakout game?

Bush and Haden are inactive. Not good.

Witherspoon, Spillane and Loudermilk are in.

If I see Spillane covering Waller, I might punch a hole in my TV.

Steelers at home, i expect Ben to win back some of his critics with his guns today.

 

Don't like that idea of Bush and Jaden being out either. Spillane is decent and so is the Badger Loudermilk.

 

I guess we will see very soon if Spoon was a good acquisition. Any word on what happened to Haden and how long he will be out?

Here is hoping the team brings in an extra DB to assist. I would rather the team bracket Waller at all costs in a different set of ways. Doing so greatly limits his effectiveness.

 

Minkah is the X Factor today. Have faith in him. Whomever the LB is on Waller is the question. Realistically speaking, another X Factor can be Matt Canada. Have to start fast.

I’ll tell you one thing, we ain’t holding raiders to under 16 without Haden or bush lol.

 

It is a groin injury so it is difficult to tell. Could be a game or two. Could be more. Remember that the injuries players take when they are older not only take longer to heal but happen more frequently. However, Haden is the least of my concerns.


Bush's inability to stay healthy is a major concern now moving forward.

 

Best to have Haden and Bush out for the 2nd game then down the stretch.

Best not to rush either. Still frustrating for Bush Jr all the same. Has not stayed healthy since his Rookie Season. This is going to be interesting though should this continue; keyword being should. I have no doubt he is frustrated as well but either his methods of training have not yielded much success or the types of training are not permitting him be more readily available.

 

I expect Najee will have a good game today. If that gives Big Ben the time to commit to the PA, all the better. Rushing attack has to start not just fast but hard as well.

 

Raiders have poor record traveling East coast. That plus they are on short week.

We should win this game.

 

Tomlin is 2-4 against the raiders. And every time, the steelers were favored. Let that sink in. Tomlin coached squads almost always play down to these clowns. I have the L penciled in. Of course, I'd happily eat these words and be glad to be wrong.

 

Pretty sure Dulac said Haden was going to be on the field for warm ups to see if he could play today, so hopefully that says he’s close and won’t miss another game.

 

I injured my groin last night but I'm still suiting up today

 

A good move for certain; doubly so for Haden. Haden is not my concern though.
