OP are you going to start a thread for every player from the Raiders that won't play against the Steelers?

He sucked Sunday. I don’t care about grades or Rodgers.

It is true that PFF sucks and also true that Ben was not very good last Sunday. That said, Ben did still make some plays to help get the win. As down as I am on Ben at times I have to give him credit for that. He will never let a bad performance keep him from trying to win the game. Some QBs can't get over what happened earlier in the game. Ben is not like that. It makes it hard for me to ever want Ben benched in a game despite how poorly he might be playing because he is always capable of turning it around and making those couple plays that win the game. Let's just hope he knocked the rust off and will come out much sharper this game because in the first half Ben was really bad.

He didn’t play well, but no way did he play nearly as badly as PFF scored him. A PFF score of 38.0 is really, really bad. By comparison, Josh Allen got a 67.6 grade. Now, did Allen really play nearly twice as well as Ben did? Did he even play better than Ben at all? But hey, all is not lost. The scorers at PFF gave Ben a higher grade running the football than Allen. Ben the ultimate running QB!

Trevor Lawrence threw 3 interceptions in his NFL debut last week and PFF gave him a higher grade than Ben who had zero turnovers. I guess PFF loved the quick release, the velocity of the ball and the beautiful tight spirals that Lawrence threw, even though they were into the arms of the other team.

I think Ben throwing passes on an average of 5 yards probably has a lot to do with them grading him poorly.

I picked the Steelers to win against the Raiders because I’m a homer that way but I can easily see this game going sideways if that was Ben from end of last season playing last week and not just rusty lay-off Ben. I tend to believe it was the former.

That's hilarious. On his "long" run I couldn't believe it was just 8 yards. It seemed to last a lot longer than that. PFF is really hard to know what to make of. It is fun that they are attempting to do what they are attempting to do but it is really hard to take it very seriously at times.

last night watched a replay of the second half on gamepass, Ben had a couple of good stretches, if you rewatch the second half there were some encouraging signs in how Ben is moving the offense

You seem to give all credit for wins and all blame for losses solely to the QB. Team sport, sport.

Ben was @ss last weekend and they won in spite of him.

There's really no mystery. Once you get past grading players solely based on box scores, it all makes sense.

Crap: The Steelers will be without two starters on defense as both linebacker Devin Bush and cornerback Joe Haden, who were both listed as questionable, are inactive today. Both players were added to the injury report on Friday with groin injuries.

Rough. More Pierre and Spillane, maybe Buddy. Which loss is more impactful?
