Imagine losing both minkah and watt? We would have a bad defense and still not compete for a super bowl lol

We still have Tomlin so we won't compete for a SB regardless.

No I know it won't happen, they'll just string him along on the tag like they did with Bell.

Now you see why the Steelers want nothing to do with the show Hard Knocks. They'd look like sh*t in situations like this.

Your right, they could trade him. He can be tagged next season. He will play whether or not he gets the contract.

And tj can operate how he wants. If he wants to holdout or do whatever in order to get what he wants than he has that right so don’t be mad at him if he decides to do such.

I agree a lot of them do end up broke. That’s why they need to get as much money as possible. Their money only comes in for a short time.

Usually when people talk about others having "enough money", it just means they have more than them.

    "Nobody needs *that* much money"

If they don’t owe him that, he doesn’t owe them to act right. Than he can holdout and do whatever he feels is in his best interest for himself. I never said they owe him. Owe means he’s entitled to something. Being entitled to something and something being the right thing to do are two different things. I and many other people feel the right thing to do is let someone go when you don’t want to pay them and then people get mad when people go to extremes circumstances to do that such as holdout or do what leveon did. You aren’t entitled to give your child anything but clothes, food, and shelter. But the general right thing to do is to provide them more than that.

I never said other people don’t work hard but the sacrifices it takes to become a great athlete are different than anything else. You’re trying to compare that to anything else when it doesn’t compare. That’s why so many of them scoff at people who try to criticize them who never played or accomplished anything within the sport.

That's one option, but if they find the next franchise QB in 2022 or 2023, he'll be on his rookie contract while TJ is in his prime. This applies to Minkah, too.

The formula right now is to win with a QB on his first contract precisely because you can afford to pay superstars at other positions.
