Ben Roethlisberger holds the NFL record for most 500 yard performances in the regular season with three and most overall with four when including the postseason. Good news - Steelers won all regular season games he threw for 500+. Lost the playoff game though in Jan 2021. Still, we're so spoiled.

bubby, what a joke. i remember going down under 3 rivers and waiting for stoney (dwite stone) to come out and shawn vincent to talk to them or go to dinner sometimes with stoney and all these players like lake and tunch and even noll would spend time signing and talking to fans. then would pull up a black limo and out would come brister with guys in black suits as his body guards, bubby in black sun glasses as if he were under cover and hurry him to the limo, not even making eye contact with fans and off he would speed. little did he know he was such a jerk, nobody wanted his anyway. once in awhile stoney would get us into the locker room after games. that was kind of fun. made you feel like a big chit. LOL. bubby was a dick.

I spent big bucks on this what, 25-30 years ago? at that exclusive sports memorabilia outlet - the 99 Cents Only Store. Poor Brister - they couldn't even get his name right on his collector pin. Any offers? It's still in original package. I've been waiting to show off this specimen a very long time. Only 2 Steeler QBs have ever worn this # I'm told.:steelflag:

He did. And for a while he was really popular.

I’ll keep a soft spot for Duck. In my fantasy league, I had the Bills D the week they played the Steelers in ‘19. I was sure to lose in semifinals until Duck threw 2 picks in the four minutes. I ended up winning my league. Gracias Senor Duck, as Speedy Gonzalez would say.

In honor of my hometown hero Terry Hanratty, I switched my avatar to the Notre Dame 1966 National Champions pennant. Hanratty gave me this pennant and autographed it for me when I was 10 years old. Rocky Bleier was also a member of this team.

I'm not too good with computers or I would have found that Time magazine (I think) that had the 4 of them on the cover and the caption was, "half a ton of trouble". (I think)

I'm going with the Steelers in a upset over Buffalo. May be wishful thinking but I don't buy the Josh Allen hype.

I don't get the underdog label in this game. people talking about how hard it's going to be for the Steelers to win against Buffalo.

Team went 11-0 and folks said they weren't as good as their record. Started the slide losing mostly close games many to play-off teams and folks said "See I told ya!" Also, it was quite obvious Ben was nursing an injury mid season.

This team was a Ben INT from taking a 2 score lead into the half, still had a chance to win last years game before a Ben turn-over that they obviously knew the call on. Seems a lot of teams started keying in late season after having a season worth of tape with no crowd noise to look at. Also, that game was the game that Dionte Johnson was benched for his drops (key drops that could keep drives alive when the Steelers had the lead).
