OK, you don't like the Le'Veon Bell backup option, for good reason I might add, what about Gurley? You don't need insurance until you need it, and I'd rather see what he has left in case of emergency than Benny Snell Football.

EDIT: Not sure why the site is trying to convert the link to MEDIA.

I like Gurley. I understand people freak out that he has arthritis in his knees. But he put up points for the falcons with running and catching.

However the problem with Gurley is he wants $$$$$ big time. And he has made it clear he is wanting to be on a team to be their bell cow (like the Ravens).

..... I like to have him. But I don't see it happening..... I see a better chance of us getting cam Newton. And that has doubtful written on it.

Honestly.. I'm good with who we got.

Someone gets hurt....I'll circle back around to this.

RB is not that big of a concern for me. Let me know if any OL or DB's become available.

RB is not an area of concern for me. Ballage with McFarland sprinkled in would be okay if Harris was only out for a game or two. Now if Harris would go down for an extended period I think the Steelers would have to go out and get somebody.

Either way I will pass on Gurley. He cant stay healthy. Having him as a backup doesn't help much if he is also hurt and cant go when you need him.

The line is looking shaky and our DB situation is paper thin. Add to that the fact that Stephon Tuitt may go on IR, and the Watt situation isn't resolved. The Steelers have far larger areas of concern than backup RB.

Todd Gurley on this team would just be a Deuce Staley 2.0.

Negative. Running Backs are far from a need. Or a want.

If we are looking to sign a veteran, I hope we give Adrian Peterson a look. The guy’s stat was on par with our leading rusher last year. He can relieve Harris and will provide the leadership this group of young RBs need

Games played can be deceiving when a player suits up and plays limited snaps because he is hurt.

If Harris does not knock off that leap he has going on he might be injured soon then later. I like him but he literally tries to scale defenders that are flat footed standing straight up

RB holds a much higher injury risk, he'll be getting 20-25 touches a game and ending up in the bottom of piles a lot.

OK, now you have a roster spot open with McFarland out. So now you need to sign someone.

Before I was happy with the 4 guys on the roster.

Watt is a complete waist of a RB, and you really do need 4 RBs on the roster, so do you bring back Samuels?

No idea what happened with McFarland. Either way I still wouldn't sign Gurley. A younger cheaper option will do, if they sign anyone at all.

Agreed . that's not what I consider injuries issues. Majority of players miss a game or two each year. With the one that it's then out a few.

On game day one of those 4 RBs would probably be inactive, they don't need to add a RB with McFarland out for 3 weeks.

I wouldn't be against signing a solid veteran RB if they didn't have more pressing concerns, like offensive tackle and corner back.

Gurley at this point in his career isn't any better than Snell, or Ballage. Atlanta has nobody at RB, yet they didn't keep Gurley.

Exactly. He put up volume based numbers in Atlanta last year, but he was downright awful.

He brings nothing to the table at this point
