Ok ... who's gonna hold the ball for Boz?!

I'm shocked about Berry. Not disappointed or thrilled, just shocked. I was certain that his holding was superior to PH3's and Tomlin spent quite a bit of time talking about how he wanted the punter holding. Wonder what Boz is thinking about this.

Hey, not his fault that Tomlin has some sick, twisted revolving door policy.

Maybe the P position just comes down to tenure and the league minimum salary that comes with it.

No need for a punter. We will never go 4 and out

Teach a backup QB to hold. I like the potential of a punter who can flip the field, especially with this offensive line.

No surprises so far. More to come. Harvin III won the job.

Agreed, but having a QB hold is not the standard. The Tomlin-way is the way. He's got an impeccable regular season record. Don't question him.

Yeah, why is it mandatory that the punter holds? Having QB2 hold could also potentially add a couple more fake options to the playbook.

Apparently he’s good at throwing a football through a car wash without getting it wet.

It’s not mandatory, but teams started doing it 25-30 yds ago because the special teams guys have lots of idle time on their hands at practice. And backup QBs are involved with the offense.

I don’t see why Hardin can’t learn to do it.

What possible option could you have with Rudolph holding? I keep thinking about Romo in this scenario. Maybe Haskins…..

Harvin was really a no brainer. Everyone making a big deal about holding for Boz, how about keeping the superior punter and find someone else to hold the damn ball if Harvin can’t do it.

Damn, thought he would have at least made the PS. Another lesson not to put too much stock in UDFA.

Boz is paid and expected to make it regardless of who the holder is.

Harvin will be fine at holding, he will just need more time and reps.
