No real surprises. Brown was abominable the last two games. Sexton appeared to be pushing Ray Ray for a roster spot until last nights fiasco. No real surprises here.

Shakur Brown was a disappointment, I thought he would be in the mix to replace Hilton, I hope they keep Norwood, and Gilbert though.

Had some project-type hopes for Brown but he's been bad. Oh, well.

Haskins will make the 53, because of Dobbs injury, or will be cut and added to the PS.

Its a funny thing. Was listening to some of the comments about the Minshew trade today to Philly. With the lack of quality 2nd stringers, teams are reluctant to trade for even 'proven' guys with relatively low contracts. I just see no reason to cut him, do not see much hope for him either, but you really save little by letting him go the the PS at this point.

Someone made the same point in another thread about how bereft the NFL is of quality back ups not to mention starters. Keep him on the 53 as the #3. You never know. Some GM in desperate straits might offer the Steelers something for him.

That's all? Last night they looked like half the team should be cut. Seriously though, This team really has no depth.

a lot less flexibility this year with the cap down too. put the new kid on the PS for this year. get him some meeting time and learning time with the others for a year and then maybe take a look at the kid next year. give haskins a year to get some help from sullivan and next year see if he's progressed. what do we have to lose doing that?

True story. Outside of WR and defensive line, they are thin everywhere else. On paper, they look like a decent, might grab the last AFC wild card slot team. One or two injuries could wreck the whole thing like last year.

No major injuries throughout the preseason and everyone got an opportunity to shine. The sun didn't come out for alot of them, but they did get their chance.

Bummed bout Mont but I get it. Hopefully he goes to Canada and has a successful career. He's a good kid. I've interacted with his father a plethora of times online and a few times in person.

Really? I think we have solid RB depth and our ILB depth is pretty nice too. Our depth players on the OL should be good too, it just doesn't get noticed as much since the starting unit doesn't figure to be a high end unit. TBH our OLB depth is solid too... idk I think our team doesn't lack depth. Maybe a bit in the secondary, but that's really it IMO. QB, but there are so few good back ups in the league that I think only a handful of 3-5 teams actually are in a good spot there as well.

Big injuries wreck any team. I think we've done a fine job filling out our depth. Can't be deep everywhere in this league.
